Nice timer switch

This switch will help me to control a light that will come on every night for a few hours. The switch has a random feature that will vary the on off times by as much as 30 minutes of my programed times. That will be a nice security feature. It does has 7 days of programming so I could also vary those times, as well. It can be manually turned on easily at anytime by just pushing the front plate that operates a switch. I would recommend this switch.

Easy install, Easy to program, Great convenience

I installed this programable switch in our foyer to control our out side lights. Install was straight forward and fairly easy. The switch was marked very well with easy to read writing although the instructions could have been a little larger and easier to read. Programming the switch took maybe 5 minutes to do. Easy to install and did what I needed.

Easy to install (although make sure you have a neutral line in your box!) and get running. The documentation was pretty comprehensive. It does day/time on or off scheduling and a countdown feature if you press and hold it. The only thing that could make it better would be if there was a mode for "just always turn this off X minutes after I turn it on" but as far as clever (not wifi smart) switches go, this is pretty great! Indoor programable light switch timer

This thing was incredibly easy to install. Three wire install, load, line, and neutral wire. It can also be wired into a three-way switch. I have it set for my porch lights to turn on and off at sunrise/sunset. There is also a random mode so when you go on vacation. Easy install great product.

Helpful switch with many additional features

This little gadget is really handy! Each night we turn on our porch light and when we go out of town for a day or of course, longer, our porch light doesn’t come on. This switch runs on a timer or even has a dawn/dusk setting, so now our porch light will always be on, which gives my husband and I peace of mind. A great way to control outdoor lighting.

The Eaton Programmable Astronomic Timer was a great solution for controlling the outdoor lighting in front of my home. Following the instructions, I simply removed the old 3-way light switch that controlled the lighting on my front porch and driveway. Eaton Programmable timer made Lighting Easy

I replaced the manual light/fan switch. The Eaton timer works fantastic I programmed it to come on at dark around 8 pm and to turn off at 11 pm. This switch is great if you are unable to have smart device control. This switch has 7 programmable modes, dusk/dawn, manual override. Switch has single pole and 3way backlighting. Also works with led, cfl and incandescent light bulbs.

Great option for a Porch light

I got this programable light switch to be able to have my front porch light come on as dusk and turn off at dawn. And that is exactly what this does. The best part is that it adjusts itself for seasonal changes in sunrise and sunset times. Installation was simple since there was a neutral (white) wire in the box already. Easy install works well

Works well as a theft deterrent at vacation home

Easy to program on and off times and can be programmed for a dusk to dawn and will adjust itself after programming it. Has a battery backup in case the power goes out to save programming (not to operate a light). It also can have 7 on and 7 off programs for a weekly timer.
