It's a great trimmer. The only problem I have is navigating around/near trees and plants that are easily trimmed off by the powerful action of the string as it trims.

Would RecommendThe trimmer seems adequately powerful. I think it would be better if the variable speed were set by increments (e.g. buttons or speed settings) rather than by a continuous trigger which is hard (for me) to maintain at one speed.

Awesome power but heavy
Would RecommendEasy assembly and rugged construction. It came well packaged. It is too heavy for my wife to use so she will continue using our Dewvalt while I work with the Ego. I barely used half the battery life after 45 minutes on our 1 acre lawn. So it is very impressive but I did purchase the strap attachment.
