Would Not RecommendI purchased this more than a year ago and have worked ever since to make good use of it.IMO it has several problems. Attached to the power head it's just too heavy to use for any length of time. I find it difficult to start it and then rotate it to trim at an angle. Refilling the string is really a challenge. Unless you're brush cutting it seems too powerful. Years ago I purchased the old STA1200. It was smaller and lighter and much easier to use. Sure, you had to pull off the spool to reload it...

Trims well, but string guard is too narrow.
This attachment fits my power head well and does a good job of trimming the edges of my lawn.. I would have given this a five star rating except that the string guard is too narrow and the clippings are thrown back at my legs and body. I have tried searching for a larger replacement, but I cannot find one that fits.

Would Not RecommendOnce you assemble the tool to the power handle and get to work…it is too heavy to use for an extended period of time, especially if you hav a lot of sidewalk….and the ergonomics of holding the power button while managing the tool and the weight are not a smooth experience….if you’re not comfortable wielding the unit then you’re going to make uneven cutting mistakes along the way
