EGO POWER+ Multi-Head System

Nice tool, a little heavy.

Bought this tool because mine of 17 years died. I researched different manufacturers, models and options. I liked the multi-headed option and all the attachments. The edger works great. Cuts nice lines. The line loading head makes for real easy line replacement. The only short coming is the battery wears out relatively quick and takes time to recharge. I might have to purchase another battery., and they aren’t cheap.

Makes trimming quite and easy to do

OK but not as good as a dedicated trimmer.

I bought this to replace my 9 year old 15" string trimmer which no longer worked properly and was out of warranty. I already had the power head with the aluminum shaft and found this attachment for a good price. It is OK but not as good as my old trimmer was before the switch broke making it only work at the highest speed. It is not quite as easy to control. It is heavier and not as well balanced. String trimmer

The string always getting jammed, the battery doesn’t last long. The size of the yard apparently has nothing to do with it. My yard is very small and the battery still didn’t last. I left the battery on charge for a 1.5 hours still don’t help. I purchase the multi head yesterday 07/11/26

Difficult to use and not great results,

I purchased this more than a year ago and have worked ever since to make good use of it.IMO it has several problems. Attached to the power head it's just too heavy to use for any length of time. I find it difficult to start it and then rotate it to trim at an angle. Refilling the string is really a challenge. Unless you're brush cutting it seems too powerful. Years ago I purchased the old STA1200. It was smaller and lighter and much easier to use. Sure, you had to pull off the spool to reload it...

I brought a month ago and working fine, can’t believe it’s so hard to find a replacement after five years.

Quick and easy line reload

This string trimmer attachment works great for cleaning up around the yard. It’s easy to hook up to the power head and cuts through grass and weeds without any trouble. The line is simple to reload, which saves a lot of time. It’s lightweight and comfortable to use, and overall just makes trimming faster and easier. Definitely a solid add-on if you have the multi-head system..

Takes a little getting used to

Took a while for the attachment to smoothly fit into the handle but with some experience and use it is much easier now. Trimmer line was not originally popping out when I hit it on the ground. I replaced the line and seems to be working at this point

EGO lawn and garden tools have been great…except t

When it works it works great, however I seem to be having some problems inside the cutting head. This is causing the trimmer head to stop spinning anytime I incur increased resistance. All the other EGO tools I have have been great, so maybe just a bad unit???

Hoping things get better

It's early days in that I've only used it twice but I'm pretty frustrated. I had another brand of string trimmer and I was getting tired of how difficult it seemed to be to feed the line. I have several other EGO tools that I'm happy with so I decided to get the trimmer attachment and be done with my string trimmer troubles. To my dismay, the EGO string trimmer seems to have the same issue with feeding the line when I give it a bump. Today I had to stop trimming twice, remove the battery and man...
