No cutting power
Would Not RecommendIt doesn’t cut very well at all. You have to apply a ton of pressure which doesn’t work well when extending the pole. Really disappointing.

Need a couple fixes
Would RecommendTwo issues keep this from being 5 stars. First issue is the need to drain the oil tank between uses, very annoying. Second issue is how the bar mounts, there is a lot of play due to having a single alignment lug mount and excess space on the aft alignment pin. It would work better if there was a bolt to attach the bar on the lug and the guard attached with two quarter turn fasteners.

Would RecommendBought this pole saw (PSA1020) to trim branches on our many oak trees on our property that were too high to safely reach with a chainsaw. Did not want to use a ladder to reach branches or to be close to a beach as it separated from the tree. Considered and researched several brands of pole saws.
