Would RecommendI bought this hedge trimmer attachment 2 weeks ago, and very glad that i have done so. In the past trimming required me to use a ladder and extension cord to mange the cuts often taking me an hour each just positioning equipment for the short cuts. With this new trimmer I managed to cut the 2 hedges from the ground within 15 minutes and not have to worry about ladder safety or extension cords. Would RecommendAbsolutely scythes through most types of hedges, and with those which are more difficult, it will still saw its way through even thick branches. The reach is awesome, allowing you to trim even very tall hedges from the ground, but after about 20 or 30 minutes holding the long trimmer up gets pretty tiring.

With two large and long hedges, trimming them with a standard trimmer took hours with the Ego trimmer it took under an hour and the results were excellent.

Would RecommendEven though the weight if the tool and battery is heavy when you use the sling and move the mounting bracket the tool can be balanced which makes it easy to handle. Not sure about the iq spool. It would be nice to have both spools with the tool.

Would RecommendThis has great reach and maneuverability. I was a able to get some previously hard to reach areas on top of hedges and in tight spaces between bushes and walls where I couldn't fit a normal hedger. Highly recommend.
