Unreliable

I’ve owned it for 1.5 winters and already had it in for repairs/warranty twice. All my other ego products are excellent.

Better than shoveling.

Not a bad smaller snowblower. There's 3 inches of lighter snow about 8ft. Good for my small driveway and corner lot.

Power to spare

I was pleasantly surprised how much power this little machine packs…plowing through snow is a breeze. Its light weight also allows for easy maneuverability and portability. And there is sufficient juice in the batteries to do my 4-car driveway along with the neighbours!

Limited use so far.

I have cleared wet packing snow a couple of times and what the plow leaves at the driveway. Works great as advertised.

Doesn't blow snow more than 10 ft.

Machine is agile, light and very manoeurable but does not throw snow anywhere near the advertised distances even with the chute deflector in the upright position. I have used the machine 3 times since purchasing it Dec. 28 and never has the snow been blown for more than 10 feet. We haven't had any wet snow fall yet and I fear the distance thrown with heavy snow would really be decreased. The dirty snow that is thrown is the telling evidence that the snow is not blown more than 10 feet; the snow ...

Too early to evaluate its effectiveness in snow

I purchased my EGO electric snow blower in late November. However to date I have not had enough snow to see how it performs. I can say that assembly was easy as was the instructions that came with the unit. Still waiting for the big snowfall to give it a proper test.

You might consider a stronger machine

IMPRESSIVE FOR A ONE-STAGE

I am really impressed with this snowblower. For being a one-stage, it works great. It does push some snow in front of it, but not a lot. If I were using my snow shovel, that's normally what I would do is push the snow. Using this blower made it so much faster!! I use it on the pad in front of our three car garage and it only takes maybe 10 minutes to get it done.

Works great and cleans right down to the pavement

The title says it all. I still like my Toro 18" electric snow thrower I've had for years but just got tired of tripping over and constantly moving the cord out of the way. The only drawback I have with the EGO is it's a little heavier than I'd hoped. Whereas I can easily pop the Toro from the sidewalk up onto my deck, the EGO isn't quite as nimble. Definitely not a deal (or back) breaker though, especially for a younger person.
