Would RecommendThe vacuum works very well. It is a nice improvement over my old V8+. The battery appears smaller but so far it works well. I just hope the battery doesn’t die in a couple of years and have to replace it like I had to do with the V8+.

Powerful & easier to use than traditional vacuum!
Would RecommendI've had this vacuum a couple months. It hangs in a closet and is easily detached to start vacuuming. I love it. No cord. Lightweight, and powerful. I vacuum two or three times as often as before. Picks up cat hair handily. It's easy to empty the debris.

Would RecommendI bought this a month ago to add to my collection of Dyson products. It's my 4th. I love Dyson products and have had cord vacs and cordless thru the years. The suction is amazing and the long battery life is so nice. It's a little heavier than my older model but not a issue for me at all. It's easy to empty and quiet. Wonderful Stick Vacuum!
Would RecommendI absolutely LOVE my new Dyson V10 Animal! The suction is amazing…even on the lowest power! I had another brand of stick vacuum and it didn’t come up, at all, to the standard of my new Dyson. My old stick vacuum literally DIED after two and a half years! On low power the Dyson lasts almost a full hour. The set of attachments is also wonderful!

Great suction, not so great battery life
Would RecommendI have purchased two of these. I love how light it is and how well it performs, but I wish it had a light. The bigger issue, though, is that the battery doesn’t last very long if you use it on the strongest suction setting. This wouldn’t be so bad if you could purchase back up batteries, but that doesn’t appear to be an option.

Attachments Do Not Easily Attach
Would Not RecommendWe owned an earlier model and was really happy with it. For the V10, the attachments do not attach to the canister that easily. The design has it where the canister lock does not have the canister far enough back for the little plastic tab to be out of the way. Great interlock design idea, but poor execution.

We owned a Dyson upright which became too heavy and cumbersome, but we love the Dyson brand. So we purchased a Dyson V10 and it’s lightweight, cordless and has varied suction selections and with the flip of a button you can vacuum hardwood or carpet. It was a great choice for us!
