Hard to start

Started fine when new but over the year that I've owned it, it gets harder to start every time. Will not be of much use in a power outage.

Complete piece of junk

Bought this generator back in March used it that Friday and Saturday. Hurricane Milton came through central Florida and we were without power for 5 days so we used this generator to power our 5th wheel. Every morning the gen would shut off for low oil check the dipstick no oil. Every time I would refill the tank I would have to add 1/2 quart of oil. Called the manufacture to get warranty repair that took almost a month sent the gen to an approved repair shop they did nothing they charged me $35....

Rock solid

Just got delivery of my generator today. Got it all set up with no problems. Great instruction manual and no problems mounting the wheels and the handles and connecting the battery. I did not add fuel or try to start as yet. The generator looks and feels very solid and seems to have great features. This is my first generator and hopefully I picked a good one. I'm impressed with it so far and will try to add a follow up review after running the unit and powering some stuff in the house.

Generator with it all

Needed a new generator, previous Stanley 5000 had start up and sustained run issues. Did plenty of product research for replacement and DuroMax XP10000HX had everyting I wanted. Received generator in 5 days.Assembly was easy. Battery was fully charge.Did start up with propane, and fired up immediately. Seems like it will be a great backup power generator.

Serial number

You need to put an I.D. tag in a location that is easier to see. Somewhere close to the control panel would be great.

Generator

Great, after the easy assembly, hooked up the propane and the generator fired up on the second try. Shut the generator down waited a few minutes and fired the generator the first pull of the recoil start. Ready for the next outage or cyber attack.

XP10000HX Duromax Generator

I have had the generator for about three weeks and have test ran it on propane, it started right up and used most of the electrical outlets and it preferred very well, I have a Duromax 4850 that I have used during past power outages that worked great but I decided to increase my amperage output for the central air mainly and I believe this will do the trick. I shopped around for the best all around buy and I chose Duromax, my old Duromax still runs great, just needed one a bit larger 😊

Was east to assemble. Read the directions carefully. Little things like remove the battery cover to install negative cable. Remember that cable screw has a nut holding it on the bottom of the terminal post. Wheels have two large washers on either side of the wheels. I put a 2x4 under the frame to keep the wheels off the ground. DO not add oil till your through tipping it on end. One push of the button on propane. Worked like a charm. Duromax XP10000HX Dual fuel initial feedback

set up procedure was a snap, great owners manaul with easy to follow outline and pics. i ran with 30 Weight oil for 71/2 hours using Propane for initial break in ( under no load) used close to the entire 20# tank. ran great. changed the oil and replaced with full synthetic, 30 Weight. Only complaint, a bit loud. I have a Gerarac 6500 Watt which whispers compared to the Duromax. But, noise aside, would highly recommend.
