Three issues

Just bought the XP 10000HX a few days ago. It went together easily, but I had three issues with it. (1) The push button start does not start the unit. It only stops it. (1) The detailed "start the genset" directions on the chain hanging tag and decal (on the genset frame) miss one step about the on/off choke. That step is only in the manual. Easy to use and get ready for any need.

Bought mine about 4 years ago and have used it through 2 hurricanes and numerous times camping and had nothing but great services from it. Highly recommend buying one for any of your needs.

It’s the1st year of the 20 I’ve lived in our single wide that we have a generator. We have no other way to heat when the power is out and winters in Maine can be very harsh! Flawless

Ordered this bad boy in Nov 23. Never ran it until July 24 hurricane Beryl. No break in period at all. Ran the genny for 110 hrs on propane only shutting off to change propane tanks. Ran everything in my 1300 sq ft house minus the water heater and dryer. I changed the oil at about 60 hrs in and again after power came back. It's now in the shed waiting for the next Centerpointless event.

Great options

I’m purchased my DuroMax10000 2 years ago for the Florida hurricane seasons. Love the dual fuel system. I connected it to 10 breakers through the garage wall. Even though we are in the middle of the state. We can loose power. Now we are protected against power outages and the ice cream stays frozen.

Just what I needed!

Replaces a pull start generator - my arms are getting old! Electric start is great! The real plus is being able to use propane but still having the capability of gasoline if needed.

Reliability!! Duromax 10,000

I bought this generator 5 years ago, We have been through three hurricanes together. Low maintenance and I am a Single Woman and live alone. It does my whole house including a/c but I exclude Water Heater. Don't need hot water in Florida in Aug-Oct Two of my friends have same generator. I have a local mechanic for important stuff

So easy to operate

Needed an electric start Generator for Hurricane season in Florida. I also use it to keep my 2 AC's running on my Motor Home while I am loading and unloading it for trips.This way I not burning gas up in Motor home and adding hours to my onboard generator. I start it once a month and put a load on to make sure it stays in great running condition and to keep battery charged.

Wife is able to operate

My previous unit was a manual start that my wife could not start. This unit has an electric start and never fails to start. She has been able to power the home when I have not been available.

Good haven't use

Start it every 30 days let run for 20 minutes.. Battery went bad 2 months.called cs had no problem and sent new battery...

Did work fine, now it won't start

This generator was fairly easy to assemble. At first it started easily. Now the battery is dead, yes I have run the generator on a regular basis, and it will not start using gas. It will start and run on propane. The manufacturer should be able to build a generator that is a little more durable and reliable.

Hard to start

Started fine when new but over the year that I've owned it, it gets harder to start every time. Will not be of much use in a power outage.
