Great Stuff!!

I bought and installed new entrance hardware on my front door. I had to drill new holes in the door which left holes from the original hardware. I was skeptical of Water Putty's claim that it would fill-in large holes. It filled the holes, didn't shrink, sanded easily, accepted primer and paint and the holes are not visible.

Works great

I’ve used this stuff many times. Easy to mix, gets very hard.

Best for patching

I've used this for years and it's still first choice for various patching jobs. It is water proof, sand well, and dries hard. Depending on the job, it's better than fiber glass, or plaster.

Easy to work

It mixes very easy and you can adjust to whatever consistency you need.

Rock Hard

This stuff is a great wood filler product! I have used it for years. This stuff really is rock hard when dry. It is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars; It is hard to sand if you don't fill it close to flat and get it a little proud then you will have to sand a while. This is a dry powder that almost looks like a pancake mix. It uses very little water to make it into a putty. You can mold it into shapes. Great Stuff

You will never use a traditional sparkling compound after you use this. Just remember it will get very hard just like the name on the product. It will not crack and can be sanded.

Amazing product

I was undecided on which product was the best one. I had this and one that was 3 times as expensive. After talking to Lowe’s staff and explaining to them what I was doing they recommend this product. I was very impressed to say the least!! I filled in a rotted piece of 6 x 6 and it worked perfectly. I thought it was going to be a very temporary fix that I would have to redo in the spring but after using it, it could be a long term solution if I want it to be.

Good stuff

Durhams works great at filling voids in wood. Easy to use, can be mounded to the shape you need. Keep a can handy!

Durhams putty

I have used this putty for over 30 years, and I have never had a bad result. If you need to fill large voids in plywood this works great. A little sanding and you ready for paint.
