Would RecommendI’ve used other putties and they work ok, but Durham’s is the best. As the label says, it dries rock hard and is easily sanded and painted. Because it’s so hard when it dries, it doesn’t accept stain. Paint is ok, stain not ok. Besides normal patching, I’ve also used it successfully to repair stripped out/damaged screw holes in old door hinges and strike plates. Works great.

Would RecommendI use Rock Hard on lots of jobs. Going into rental properties after someone has moved you never know what you are going to find. (Holes in walls, doors, cabinets…etc.) I will mix some Rock Hard up and fill the holes and cracks. Doesn’t take long to dry. Sand and paint. Very satisfied
