Just what I needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Dremel 3000 kit for Christmas and purchased the router base for making small signs. I really like the router base but it took me a bit to figure out the depth gage. Once I got that taken care of, things were much easier. I just wish the router bit kit had the keyhole bit. That's been the only complaint I would have. The 3000 has variable speeds and some woods burn if the speed is too high.

Door Hinge Router.

Perfect for smaller projects

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When your full size router too large for smaller projects that need a round over edge or plunging and cutting a keyhole, the Dremel router accessory is perfect. I’ve used it many times on scroll saw projects and smaller toys that I make.

Dremel router attachment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent attachment. I bought some extremely small bits, and with them I can almost write with the router! It's simple to use; depth control good and attaches very easily.

Great once you get the hang of it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This plunge router has turned out to be one of my favorite accessories. That being said, I was initially put off by it because it TAKES PRACTICE to get this right. Great tool, but I highly recommend plenty of scrap wood on hand to perfect your cut.

Great Attachment

Great for the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this last year and have used it on several applications. It is very helpful in carving designs into wood. The depth stop is very useful. The tool fits easily into the attachment and is easy to control.

Amazing for small things

It works amazingly for small projects. But for bigger ones you might need a bigger router

Impressive!

I was skeptical at first, but was impressed as it sang through the wood and gave me the edges I wanted. I thought about buying a full size router to accomplish the task, but was extremely pleased with the attachment Dremel made available.

Great little tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great little tool for small projects. I've seen a lot of people comparing this to a full size router and that's absurd. But it's great for little details and because of its small size you can deploy the set-up pretty quick

Great teaching tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a perfect way to introduce my 11 year old to the world of plunge routers without throwing him to the wolves with a big heavy 2 1/4 horse router. He was able to make a basic stand for his game system in a single afternoon.

This things great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s small but well built. It was inexpensive but very sturdy. Excellent features. Turned my dremel into a router. Not something you can use in place of a 2hp full size router but it’s amazing for smaller stuff! The price point was excellent. It’s a full on plunge router base with the ability to set depth stops for repeatability.

Great for inlays

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this for about two months, and I absolutely love how easy it is to do small intricate inlay work with it. I make cutting boards and signs with epoxy inlays, and this is so much easier to use than a full sized plunge router for fine lines.
