What Customers Are Saying
The plunge router attachment is a versatile tool that allows users to perform a range of small-scale projects and detailed work with precision and ease. It is praised for its ability to handle various materials like wood, plastic, and metal, and is effective for tasks such as cutting hinge openings, routing edges, and creating intricate designs. However, some users experienced issues with the depth setting and compatibility with older models. Overall, the attachment is a high-quality, functional tool well-suited for hobby-level projects, though it may have limitations for larger-scale work.

Would RecommendRig is great for giving you an even cut. Because the depth set knob is only on one side, sometimes the other side lifts just slightly. Overall easy to use and good for small projects.

Dremel plunge router attachment
Would Not RecommendThere is a plastic nut that holds the dremel tool in place on the the router. that is very cheap piece considering it holds the tool in place . It should have been made of some type of metal don"t you think. Also the housing is to small to change bits. You guys need to spend more time on quality than quantity. Then I might buy it again.
works great
Would RecommendI didnt know they had such an accessory for my dremels,i read all reviews and bought it anyway, i have to try for myself, bought it today and put it to work right away,so glad i bought one it has made my small routing simple to do with great results, low price for what it does, holds adjustments well
Save yourself the trouble and keep saving
Would Not RecommendI bought this to do free hand lettering, edges, holes, etc. This device is almost all plastic. When in use, the plastic bolts on the depth gauge rattled off time after time. Consistent depth is also non existent.... The right handle of the router can be used to tighten down the right side with the intent of locking the depth. The problem is that the left side is not locked, and has a fair amount of play. This causes a lot of up and down movement when one is using this device. Save yourself...
Dremel Rotary Plunge Router not accurate
Would Not RecommendThe Dremel Rotary Plunge Router is a poorly made piece of junk that cannot not be used for any project requiring accuracy. The depth gauge is unreliable and when you set it and lock it in the depth will change and the router changes to a slight angle that is not perpendicular to the base. Pay the bucks and buy a quality metal base especially if you do inlay.
If you understand that this is a small light weight tool it does great. It can't be forced or pushed. It will work as it is supposed to if you understand it's function. It works on speed, not force. If you are in a hurry you will be disappointed. joe
Great in theory. Poor in practice
Would Not RecommendGot a good price on this. Ultimately too flimsy to properly secure and way too limited in movement. Lacks real accuracy. The plastic wing nuts strip so easily and the sliding motion on the aluminium rods is jerky and far from smooth. Cheap construction. Don't bother.

Let's be realistic here...
Would RecommendRouters...are...expensive. We all know this, and it's tricky to justify the cost for a couple projects. Enter the plunge router attachment for your trusty Dremel. And anyone who owns a Dremel rotaty tool understands they have no torque, and rely strictly on speed. With that said, if you plan to attack project with a hard wood species, you're gonna be greatly disappointed with this product. If you got some art type projects, using soft wood, or need small details routed out, this will work f...
not recommended
Would Not Recommenddon't waste your money. This thing is not good. 1. It has a measuring device, but it is plastic and not actually affixed to the base, it moves up and down so you can't get any accuracy out of it. It also isn't very highly graduated, with only .100" marks and mm 2. since it is plastic and the tolerances are loose, you set it, tighten the handle and when you let go the other side drops and it doesn't hold the router perpendicular to the base 3. The circle cutter attachment uses a brad that is o...
Plunge router is terrible!!!!
Would Not RecommendI was excited to buy and try the plunge router accessory for my Dremel. As I started to set it up, directions weren't very good. Had A LOT of trouble attaching it to my Dremel. Finally got it to work, somewhat, but didn't stabilize well or cut very evenly. Very disappointed! Now I can't remove the router attachment from the hand piece!! Which renders my Dremel useless! Very frustrating and certainly not worth the money or hassle. Love my Dremel otherwise, although I can't use it with the router ...

Compact but versital
Would RecommendI wanted a small compact plunge router to cut keyhole openings in narrow picture frames that I am making and this unit provided me with everything I needed. It's size is perfect for use on smaller projects. I would highly recommend the 335-01

Router Attachment for small detail construction
Would Not RecommendI Use this for small box construction detail This little tools works wonders I originaly owned the first generation router base but when I upgraded my dremel I purchased this base. its a little large but the clear base makes it way easier to use. The on board tool storage is a bit of a issue and not really needed other than for when your store it away the construction is solid and easy to adjust and the plunge feature is fawless. overall its a great little tools for small jobs. as always jus...
