What Customers Are Saying
The plunge router attachment is a versatile tool that allows users to perform a range of small-scale projects and detailed work with precision and ease. It is praised for its ability to handle various materials like wood, plastic, and metal, and is effective for tasks such as cutting hinge openings, routing edges, and creating intricate designs. However, some users experienced issues with the depth setting and compatibility with older models. Overall, the attachment is a high-quality, functional tool well-suited for hobby-level projects, though it may have limitations for larger-scale work.

Would Not RecommendSad thing is that with a little more design effort, it would have worked. I have used Dremel tools for years, and am disappointed that this thing is so badly designed. I understand this is not a heavy duty item that a professional in the construction or woodworking industry would use, but that does not mean that it should not be functional for light use. The main difficulty is that when a depth is set, you are not accurately or reliably setting the depth you want because even after the upper ...
Great for wood working
Would RecommendThis has made it so easy to do integrate designs in any type of wood.

Thank You!
Would RecommendI would like to first thank, Ellaina Gorske and Dremel, for sending me this attachment to replace their shaper/router table and drum sander. This plunge router attachment performed very well in place of the shaper table. All aspects exceeded my original expectations. Out of the box: Appearances are good. Materials up to par for general use applications. There is a removable and marked plunge ruler various ways to mark your depth and a twist of the knob (right) will lock in your plunge. There i...

A little stiff, and good for flat surfaces
Would RecommendYou have to use a fair amount of force to get the router to “plunge”, otherwise you can set the depth and lock it in. If you have a flat surface it’s fine, but an uneven surface it’s not practical

Handy Tool Attachment
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little gadget is rather nice to have with your rotary tool. Beside the fact that it’s used as lightweight router attachment, it comes in handy as well for other uses. I often find myself trying to hold my Dremel steady as I make a cut freehand. This attachment allows me to place the tool up against the surface of a lot of the cuts I make and helps with the freehand precision. And beside some typical routing jobs that you might preform with...

Nice Addition to the Dremel Family
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this item a while ago, but was waiting to get some projects to try it out on before I wrote a review on it. And I have to say this will be one of the more useful attachments that I've purchased. I've only done a couple of things with it so far but have absolutely no regrets. I wanna start by saying that at first I was a little confused about the whole setup, and had to read over the manual a couple of time to make sure I was setting ...

Held its own against larger plunge router
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Dremel 335-01 to make the decorative edges around a display base for one of my son’s model cars. It worked like a charm. I also have an expensive large routing table and full size plunge router from another brand but found the Dremel to be the perfect size and took half as long as the base I made with my other machines using the same style/patterns. I’ve no complaints about this Dremel product and am happy to say for smaller jobs I...

Some setup issues but slow and steady
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First things first the instructions could be a bit clearer when your setting it up... remember less is more and the manual should reflect a clear setup then use of the product. And some lube to the rails as they tend to stick when plunging down or returning up. I cut some letters out of plex glass with a small bit and it worked well but as with anything you do test it out on some scrap.... So the deal is, you need a cutter with very little wear...

Limited usr
Would RecommendI used the plunge router guide to cut out door hinges. As I moved it across the edge of the door it would drop and cut deeper. There was no way to support it over the 3 1/2 inch cut.
