Would RecommendAfter getting rid of my pool boy, I decided to maintain my pool myself. Since I’ve been maintaining it, I’ve only been using this pool salt that Lowes sells. It’s cheap and effective.

Cost effective but a little difficult to dissolve
This is our go-to for pool salt because of the price point. For the most part this dissolves pretty well but there are almost always some bigger clumps that are leftover that need to be worked with a pool brush. I would say the other name brand at a slightly higher price does dissolve better, but that brand left a brownish hue in the water where it dissolved which I have never noticed with this brand.
