Would RecommendThe new cartridge fixed the leak present with the old cartridge. The leak was present in the valve handle area of the old valve. These cartridges usually need to be pressed into place by turning the threaded collar. Tighten until it is snug; not too tight. You have to have a feel for this. Adjustment of maximum water temperature is very simple. Not so simple with the knock-off competitor's version. I am much happier with the Delta cartridge.
