ok when I got all the calcium and the whole thing cleaned out . installed the new cartridge adjusted the knob so it rotates all the way left and right put the lever back on etc. turned the water back on and no leaking at all im satisfied so im rating the part as very Decent. The old part was so old it crumbled to pieces man that was a two hour job. 13/14 series

Stopped the drip

This is the second time I fixed our guest bath/shower faucet. The first time I purchased an off brand cartridge and it lasted for approximately 6 months. This time I purchase Delta’s OEM cartridge and it is working great. I feel it is way over priced at $50, but if it works than it was worth it. Time will tell....

Works great. Easy install. Just make sure you use the right one. There are two different sizes. Buy both if not sure, then return the other.

This shower valve was a easy install and all the dripping water has stopped. No more drip drip drip.

Delta Shower Valve Cartridge

After putting up with a slow dripping shower head for the last two years, I decided it was time to repair my 13 year old valve. This cartridge fits all 1300 and 1400 series Delta faucets made over the years. Just remove your shower knob, slide off the chrome tube covering the cartridge, and remove the large locknut holding the cartridge in. Wiggle the old one out and install the new. Purchased the Genuine Delta RP19804. Warning on back of package says "Read and familarize your self with instructions and illustrations before beginning". No instructions are included in package!

I bought this to replace a generic cartridge which was stiff and started leaking after only a year of use. this one is easier to install and works much better than the one it replaced. I recommend setting the temperature control to a hotter setting than the unit comes with from the factory unless you have really hot water.

Leaking tube faucet

Found it right at Lowe's and it was easy to replace the leaking tub faucet.

Cartridge replacement

Simple fix . Easy to install . The only thing that would help the product is stamp a H for the hot side .

Poor quality. Refused warranty

I replaced this Cartridge annually due to leak but learned it comes with lifetime warranty this week. When I called the company, they offer 70% off from msrp($89.99). I am hiring plumber so I can put another brand.
