Love the tap on/off BUT IT DON'T SHUT OFF

This new faucet was installed 5/5/32. Worked great for a few weeks. Now I have to shut it off and can't use the tap because it drips all the time.

Touch2O delta faucet

This is our third one and we really enjoy using it. At times while visiting friends I touch there faucet but it is not Touch2O.

Love the touch feature!

This is my second Delta touch kitchen faucet. The first one was over 12 years old and still working except for the solenoid which American Home Shield wouldn't replace but decided to give me money for a new faucet. I chose this one and it's similar to the original with some improvements. I trust Delta because of the good experience I've had with them and the excellence of their products.

Great feature

Very happy with my faucet. Easy to install, beautiful to look at.

Works very well

We like it. My two reservations are: --a five year warranty on the solenoid, apparently. We were told it was lifetime. They are listed at $193 on Delta's website today... --The "throw" of the water flow rate lever is too short. If you want to save water by leaving the flow lowered somewhat while using the touch feature as an on/off switch, it is really only about an inch of movement of the lever from off to wide open. Fiddly.

Aesthetic upgrade, and functional

Bought when redesigning our kitchen Aesthetically perfect. Upgraded the look and matched the new cabinet hardware. Easy installation and works perfectly. Sometimes it doesn’t work when my wife touches it, but we came to the conclusion that it was due to the temperature of her hands…when they are cold, it doesn’t work….but warming her hands solves the issue. For me, no issue as my hands are almost always warm.

Sensor dead in less than 3 months

Sensor died in less than 3 months. No sensor, NO WATER! throwing the whole thing away.

Touch of class

I love the touch feature If you leave it on after a few minutes it shuts off

Inconsistent at Best

Faucet is great!!!! ..... when it works. The touch element works sporadically. Touch it to turn it off and it's fine, touch it again to turn it on it's fine, touch it again to turn it off and it keeps flowing. Touch it 5 more times and the water is still going until you manually turn it off. Extremely disappointing at best. CS is shipping a new Solenoid to hopefully fix this issue but in the meantime, definitely not worth the extra upgrade to the touch feature.

So Far So Good

We've only had our faucet foe a short period of time, Kitchen project will be finished tomorrow. So far I'm very pleased with our purchase.

Love the look but....

I love the look of my new faucet, but the touch sensor is so sensitive and it reverses its use with the battery pack. I have to go under my sink every time I need water. It is very inconvenient. I've tried to get in contact with customer service, but I'm still waiting for their reply.

Dependable easy care faucet

This is the 2nd time that I am purchasing this faucet. I had it for 4 yrs in a country style house and just got another for my "new" c1800 house. The style blends with everything. If you cook a lot I recommend this faucet because you can turn it on with your elbow to wash your hands. There is a new feature - automatic shut off after 4 mins.

I regret this purchase

The handle of the faucet is also touch sensitive, so when you want to change the temperature of the water or change the flow of the water, it turns the water off. This is either a design flaw or we have a bad one. Everyone who comes to our house and uses this faucet hates it. The other part of this faucet that I don't like is that the water is either full on or off, no decreased flow. When you turn down the flow with the handle, it almost turns the water off. Love this faucet. The touch control is so convenient.

Not worth the money!

We had problems with this faucet from the moment it was installed. The plastic battery compartment is cheap and poorly constructed. The installer snapped part of the compartment when trying to put the batteries in. We have had to replace it twice. It compartment currently won’t snap in place to allow the batteries to work. We have had to rig it with zip ties and rubber bands. It still only works if we hold it together. Instead of replacing the compartment again…we are purchasing another faucet....

Thank you Delta for an easy and quick solution

This is message regarding my earlier review about problem with Essa touchless faucet. Delta quickly replay to my complain letter and offer magnets replacement. It should come within a few days with the parts and the easy installation kit. I hope that soon I will get my Essa back working correctly:) As mention earlier I love the Essa look, very simple and tasteful and touchless function is extraordinary helpful. Thank You Delta !
