Pop-Up Drain Pull Rod Assembly

Had to replace our old assembly the set screw was stripped. Brought our old assembly to Lowe's and matched it with the one above. Like this product because the screw was in a metal piece and not plastic. We installed the new one a it worked great!

Missing part

The package was missing a clip that was shown in the instructions and needed for the part to work. After a second trip when I found that none of the packages contained the clip, a very helpful employee opened a package that contained multiple clips and gave it to me.

Was an excellent replacement for the plastic one that came with the sink, metal is always better!

Not much to say. Works as it should,price was reasonable. No problems .

Flimsy metal extension, easily mangled

I installed this in our bathroom sink just over an hour ago. My wife decided to "check my work". She is by no means muscular, and when pushing down the rod to open the drain she managed to mangle the extension. I replaced it with the original rusty extansion and now it works perfectly. If you need the extension, and can't salvage your old one, DO NOT BUY.

Wish I had checked reviews before purchase. I was in the store, and remembered I needed to pick something like this up for a replacement. Never again.

Bad instructions Over Designed

This should be an easy install but it isn't, I messed with this thing for half an hour when it should have been 5 minutes. The instructions say to slide the right size ball in place and slide the washers onto the rod. Nothing slides onto the rod as both ends are unnecessarily threaded. Nothing in this kit uses the threads. Nothing. The threads mean the two washers and the ball end must be screwed onto the rod. Neither the ball ends or the washers are threaded. Once the washers have been screwed ...

Works like a champ

The plastic part of many EOM faucets that connects the rod to the actuator in the waste assembly strips out easily. This fixes it. Good Stuff and easy to install.

So you need to replace the pop-up for your sink. The kit gleams on the rack. The instructions on the back detail how to put it together. Instructions show the clevis to complete the replacement. Then when you get home, you find the kit doesn't have the clevis! It's sold separately! Brilliant.
