Nearly perfect for my needs.
Would RecommendNeeded down rod greater than 8" long, which seems to be the standard, due to a granite countertop 1-1/2" thick. The length here, 12" is perfect. Would have preferred satin nickel finish, but I will try to find a spray or craft paint that will match my faucet. Worth it to have the sink stopper pop up a little higher to drain properly.

Easier said than done
It is not easy to install. The piece of metal that attaches it to the drain lever doesn't hold it in place and it keeps slipping to right next to the pipe where there is no leverage to open the drain. Something that would screw tight to the lever would be useful.
