Would Not RecommendWorked great! I was surprised when I found out you could replace the diverter, instead of the whole faucet. I got one to see if it would work, since the tub faucet still gushed when I used the shower. Took a minute to get the old diverter out, but the new one went in with a snap, and works great! Nice fix.

Perfect replacement but,
Would RecommendMy spout was pitted and rotten inside beyond belief. My well water (pH=6.4) may have helped this along. After filing and sanding as best I could, the repair kit went in and made a great improvement. I doubt it will last long with all the remaining pits. So, I am going to experiment with shower stops and other ball valves as a replacement for the regular tub spout.
