Don't buy it

I bought this because i had taken the old delta one out to see what parts i needed. Went to Lowes, NO Delta parts, so i saw this Danco kit, thought , Ok give it a go. Removed the cups and springs , siliconed everything including the ball and put it back together, turned the water on and it was leaking out the faucet , i only had a drip out of the tap to start with. This kit has all the replacement parts you need to fix your leaky, single knob, sink or shower. I can't speak to how long they last (since I just installed), but the materials seemed sturdy.

The right kit for older Delta's

For a nominal cost (less than $15), using this kit I was able to repair a leaky old shower faucet and thus avoid a very costly tear-down of the shower wall to replace the entire valve. All the parts were there, with some options on the springs. The job itself though, is NOT simple/easy. Take your time, and be careful not to damage the faucet.

Not Worth The Money

After 17 years, one of the Delta faucets in my bathroom had started dripping. Purchased this kit and tore into the faucet. Couldn't get either of the seals that came with the kit to work and ended up reusing my old ones. Put the ball and top seal in and it made it extremely hard to turn the water on. Polished the old ball with my Dremel, put it back in and it worked. So, the only parts that I was able to use out of the kit were the springs and the top seal.

Great Kit, but fell short

I really appreciated having all the parts I might need in one kit. However, when I tried to reassemble the faucet housing using the new large washer that fits inside the nylon guide, the could not get the faucet housing close enough to get the thread started. I tried everything I knew (not much), but wound up using the old washer. Once I did that, I had no problem, and the leak is fixed.

Easy directions, but watch out for ball fit & cap

Ball and white cap did not fit faucet. We decided to use old ball and cap. we used the new springs and faucet is no longer dripping. After reassembly of faucet, the hot/cold button won't snap back in. So on the hunt on website. Everything so far wants you to purchase faucet handle. UGH!!

Buy the delta parts and save money and time

These parts are very prone to leaking. Put in the real delta replacement parts and no problems.

Not exact match

Springs were slightly longer and heavier gauge wire than existing springs. This caused the faucet handle to have very stiff movement. I ended up taking the faucet apart again and reusing the old springs in the new rubber fittings. This actually worked fine, but one would expect the replacement parts to be exactly the same as those they were replacing!

Stay away

Leaks, just like the other fail products I ignorantly purchased by Danco. Stay away from Danco.
