lacking a couple of details

the replacement used an entirely different gasket from the og delta gasket which was fine but the instructions failed to mention installing that gasket! one wet shirt later, i figured it out and it worked fine.

Necessary part not included

I purchased this kit not realizing that the two pronged wrench needed to loosen the top nut was not included. Had to make two trips and purchase the Delta brand kit additionally to make repair. Wrench isn’t sold separately at Lowe’s. I tried everything to loosen the nut. Only the wrench which wasn’t included worked. Buy the Delta Kit instead. Additionally, plastic parts did not seat well into housing. After having to purchase the Delta kit to get wrench, I simply used the Delta parts which fit ...

Worse than before doing the replacement

This piece of junk is a waste of time. The thumping faucet was worse after putting these parts in. I'm returning them and ordering real Delta parts, and then I get to do the work all over again.

Nylon Cam slightly different -- Reused original.

While the parts fit and looked about the same, the new cam prevented the lever from going as far to the off position. Had to position the lever perfectly to avoid a leak. Put the original cam in and while at it, reused the original ball now that my confidence in tolerances is way low, then the lever would stop flow with a little more to go. I'd only use this if in a rush. Otherwise get your free Delta kit.

Was exactly what was needed and as a bonus, saved me $80.00 by not having to call a plumber!!

Waste of My Money and Time

I had to resort to using some of the original parts to get the unit back together. The springs and rubber washers were a particular problem that interfered with the handle fitting properly (it would not go down as far as it should have). I overtightened the handle attempting to compensate for the fitting problem only to stripped the mounting screw. I used a self-tapping screw. I was so unhappy with the finished product, "I bite the bullet" and called a plumber and had a complete new unit ins...

No directions with the product.

Thank goodness there was a YouTube video detailing how to install these replacement parts. I had a constant drip from my kitchen faucet and googled ways to fix the problem. I ordered the product online and picked up at store the same day. Following the video directions, I was able to easily repair the drip in about 45 minutes. Not bad for a 64 year old female.

Faucet Repair

I had a faucet that was not working properly. I had abundance of cold water, but the hot water would barely drip. I took the faucet apart and notice that I needed new springs and rubbers for the faucet to work properly. I purchased the repair kit, went home and fixed the faucet in no time at all. It was a pleasant experience

These repair kits are great if you can get the handle off. Before you even think about rebuilding you faucet. Make sure you can remove the handle.

Kitchen sink faucet repair

My existing kitchen sink single lever faucet had developed a leak at the base for quite a while but would only leak when the water was turned on. Then it got to where the faucet would not turn off completely and developed a slow drip leak through the faucet, unless you applied pressure to the handle for a period of time. Does not include all you need

Said it has all you need for repair of single handle faucet but does not. Did not have spanner wrench, faucet o ring or silicone grease. Had lots of different o ring sizes but not for faucet. Had to return to store and purchase silicone grass and $13 o ring assortment because the right size o ring was not carried in a single packet.
