Several years ago I bought a repair kit for the exact same model faucet for less than $4.00. This time, the only repair kit that had the parts I need (actually, only one - the "cradle" in which the SS ball valve sits) was for a different model faucet, and cost $17.40. It worked for MY faucet, but I'm left with a quantity of springs, gaskets, and other components that I'll never use.

Using all the parts of the kit, it did not work for my Delta faucet. There was water running out the top of the faucet when it was assmebled and tightened. To get it to work, I needed to use the old round flow valve that selects amount of hot and cold water. I compared the new and old metal balls and found the Danco one appeared slightly smaller leading to the top leak. Putting in the old ball immediately stopped the leak.
