What Customers Are Saying
This oscillating sanding pad has mixed performance. While some users found it easy to use and effective, the majority of reviews highlight significant durability issues. Many customers reported that the sanding pad and sandpaper attachments wore out or failed quickly, often within just a few uses. The Velcro holding the sandpaper was cited as being weak and not durable. Several reviewers mentioned the corners wearing down too quickly, the pad melting or breaking, and the sandpaper not staying attached during use. There were also complaints about the pad not fitting certain oscillating tool models as advertised.

Hook & Loop failed after little use
Would Not RecommendThe hook & loop failed after a couple of hours of use. The sandpaper doesn't stay attached when running tool.
Have not used it yet.
Would RecommendThe quality looks good, but I have not had a chance to use it yet.

Lasts for me!
Would RecommendI use this multi tool on almost every project an dthe sand paper attachment had never let me down. I don't know how others are melting it. I have gone through 100's of papers and it still goes. The only issue I have is finding the proper DeWalt size paper so it covers the full pad. And even in that, I've used smaller pads exposing the hooks and they haven't melted, only bent around the edge. So I have used this for 2 years and there is still life left in it.

does the job
Would RecommendFor a replacement sanding head, this did the trick just fine.

Good product
Would RecommendThis product is a solid one. Quick attach and detachment from the Dewalt Oscillating tool. My only complaint is that although it is able to be used by different brands of oscillating tools, the sanding pad sizes are not. Several brands make a smaller sanding sheet which when used with the oscillating tool will expose the edges of the tool and potentially damage the surface of whatever you are sanding. Ensure to use Dewalt sanding pads.

Sander attachment is extremley flawed.
Would Not RecommendThe triangle attachment that secures sandpaper is an extreme flaw. I attached yet a third unit today and within 5 minutes, about 4 feet of 3" inch board, the material had melted down to useless, the sandpaper begins to loose grip and shifts around on the attachment. The backing on the paper when I went to remove had partially melted into the attachment. And finally two of the 3 corners actually broke away in material chunks. This is the third attachment I've purchase and all 3 failed in the same...

Perfect!
Would RecommendThe one I received with the purchase of my oscillating tool was used to the max and was due for replacement. Lasted through some rough jobs. It’s nice to know that a replacement piece wasn’t half of what the tool itself cost and the fact that it was still available/manufactured was a plus. For ten bucks I could use that function of my tool that is used on a regular basis.

Sanding pad
Would Not RecommendThis is the third one I had to buy the hook and loops wear down even if you don’t press hard to sand and the sanding paper will not hold onto the pad and at 11 dollars a piece I’m spending more on the sanding pads than the paper

Don’t go cheap
Would RecommendBought the cheap brand/version to save money when sanding and removing paint from trim in the house. Sanded one place and they melted. The Dewalt brand did get warm and melt slightly, but after much more use and it was still useable when the cheap ones weren’t.

Sanding Pad
Would Not RecommendWorked OK on my Rockwell tool; however, after not too much use, the "velcro"top layer delamenated from the rest of the sanding block. Used some Gorilla glue and finished the job. Returned the block to Lowe's.

Great add-on
Mainly run with Ryobi 18v tools, but the sander head for their fine tool is very difficult to find sanding pads for. Got this one as a replacment for the original and it is a vast improvment. Takes larger more common sanding pads, can be removed without removing the mount screw completely, and it sits lower on the tool, allowing for more flexibility at angles.
