What Customers Are Saying
This oscillating sanding pad has mixed performance. While some users found it easy to use and effective, the majority of reviews highlight significant durability issues. Many customers reported that the sanding pad and sandpaper attachments wore out or failed quickly, often within just a few uses. The Velcro holding the sandpaper was cited as being weak and not durable. Several reviewers mentioned the corners wearing down too quickly, the pad melting or breaking, and the sandpaper not staying attached during use. There were also complaints about the pad not fitting certain oscillating tool models as advertised.

Would RecommendThis universal adapter is a great replacement for the OEM tool you wish to use it for regardless of the brand name. Yes, there are other types available but this adapter has a raised base for securing and allows the sand pad to require you to do less pressure nd lessen the level of dust your will incur. Good constructions and the felt pad is thicker than the OEM style one had.

Velcro very weak, even before burnout
Would Not RecommendI have used other sanding pad attachments and was used to the whole “don’t sand with much pressure and slow down your tool’s speed” conversations. Even with that knowledge, I found that during use with a 2nd 220-grit pad, the Velcro on this device was essentially gone. The sandpaper was slightly everywhere. I bought this more expensive one primarily due to the Dewalt name, but found that it did not last as long as the one from HF.

So far so good, except
Would RecommendWorks very well but after I use it for a long period of time. I can already see the wear n tear. We will see how long it'll last.

Velcro is weak
Would Not RecommendThe velcro holding the paper wore out rather quickly. Thought I was doing something wrong to make this happen till I read on another web site many others experiencing the same problem. It was suggested to lower the speed, I did this but it did not work. Another commented that they glued some velcro to the back with gorilla glue, about to try that. Great tool but they need to add some better holding velcro to this tool

Sanding tool pad
Would RecommendThe pad has a center hole cut out. When sanding, the Velcro area cups up and into the center hole and has no contact with the sanding surface.
