Excellent design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Folds up for storage and transportation exceptionally well yet can telescope and rotate to provide light from many angles to make different jobs easy. Cordless makes it so easy to move around the jobsite. One of the best purchases I have made.

Awesome work light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought one of these lights today for a project we had which was going to run late. This light was bright enough to do detail work. We installed countertops, backsplash, did some touch up work all using just one of these lamps. 4 ah battery lasted between 2.5 and 3.5 hours on high. This light folds up into a little torpedo for travel too, seems really robust. Very stable light when setup. Much nicer to use this then to try and find places...

Awesome light!

I have used this light for late night grilling, lighting for power outages, and when we need a little extra light for a project. Can’t wait to take it camping this summer!

Amazing tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I read many reviews about it and I read about it in Dewalt site, but I don’t believe that it’s thats good actually, it’s really amazing, easy to use very good features and the light very powerful and it saves the battery power too. Get it now this is my advice.

Good for tall spaces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light comes with great reach for taller rooms but, with just the single source of light it’s prone to creating shadows where you’re trying to work. Would be nice to see this updated with more and moveable sources of light as well as an option to cleanly defuse the light.

Good light for large area

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this light December 19 and have used it several times. It is good light to use on any job site. I do with the head rotated without having to move the whole tripod. I have not transported it much and seems you would want to use cation because of the thin plastic housing.

Good work light

Super bright

She accommodates all 20v and 60v batteries very great light. Super useful. The sky limit with this thing :D I'm It is a staple for any garage, if you see one in action you will buy it. Very happy

Runtime on High with 4Ah & 8Ah 20v Max

I ran runtime tests on this tripod light (DCL079B) with 2 different 20V Max battery sizes (4Ah & Ah). Published runtimes only stated "lowest brightness" runtime of 11 hours on 4 or 5Ah battery. I did not pay this kind of money to run the light on a reduced performance setting of 5 year old technology, so here is my personal experience on Highest brightness. Best light ever BUT....

this lit up a 40 ftL X 10 ft W driveway that was pitch black. its light, compact, and with the 1 LED is the brightest ive ever seen or owned. HEERE IS THE BUT.... pressing the trigger with a flexvolt battery makes it impact the ground hard. Needs a spring to compensate, If this had come with a motion sensor setting or offered as an accessory so it can also be used a security light onsite it would go from 4 directly to 10 stars

RunTime with 8 AmpHour battery

On 1st charge of new 8Ah bat, it ran 3:45:47 on high before it switched lower. Used light meter and brightness didnt diminish until switching lower.

All my friends want one

A couple of my buddies purchased this and I had to have it. It's very light and easy to move. Opens and closes like a dream. It's very bright with three brightness settings. Illuminates my entire three car garage. Couldn't be happier.

Almost the perfect light

Super bright and easy to move around. It really like that you can extend and tilt it. That said, this beast EATS batteries, so I wish it would be able to run on AC power as well, like the fan!

Great light

Works good gives plenty of light it would be nice if they can make a cover to go over the lens to protect it when u put in your truck so it won’t get damaged

Awesome light, bad hinges

This is an awesome light other than the fact that the hinges keep breaking and that it needs an A/C adapter because the batteries don't last long

No electricity needed

I do multiple home renovations and some do not have power, this light makes all the difference in the world with its three brightness levels. A 60V battery will run this light on high continuously for approximately 5 hours. A 20V 4ah battery will last approximately 2 hours on high. The light is very bright and will illuminate an entire room. If you work indoors or outside at night I highly recommend this light.

Well made, powerful light; very versatile

This work light provides excellent lighting for finishing jobs that run well into the night. It also serves as an excellent broad light source if we lose power for extended periods. I have used this on a few masonry projects after dark and could see almost as well as day time. It is light weight and transportable. Easy to use, auto shutoff is very nice

User friendly, set your pressure and stress free because it registers the current pressure and you just dial the desired pressure. Hit start, progress is displayed and the unit stops when the target is reached. Compact and durable, A+ Dewalt!
