poor hinges

bought it may 2019 do not use it for industrial use i use it in my home for doing crafts and it dose not get used much.well today it fell over because the leg hinge broke.i would of never thought this of a Dewalt product.

Nice light

I bought this light to work outside around the house. Love the whole concept for this light. It works great and the switch for the light settings is nice to help with battery life. The only thing I do not like is the design of the tripod legs. After a few times of use one of the legs have broke. I have managed to fix the leg but I am very careful with the light. For a portable light on job sites you should not have to be careful of breaking the legs. Overall I like the light but I am the only on...

Nice light

Light is good but the 11 hour runtime they talk about isn’t with any battery under 5 ah. Plus my head diesent stay where you point it it just flips down. Great light if you have big battery’s.

Really lights up the night!

Must Have job site light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light is very lightweight considering it’s size. The battery life is good if you use 60V batteries. The brightness is amazing!! Has 3 light settings which come in handy to preserve battery when you don’t need as much light. I own 2 of them I use them so much. I have other Dewalt LED lights but this is my go to.

Awesome work light

On high, it lasted 2 hours on a 4 AH battery, and 6 hours on low. Brite enough

I needed some extra light while power washing daily. The unit lights up a large enough area to complete the spraying in about 1000sq feet. The light also flashed letting you know the battery is low. I usually run the battery for three solid hours on the brightest setting with no issues. Very light and easy to store away.

Only tripod I will buy again

Great height and spread. I used this for working in my garden at night and lighting up the neighbors driveway for night time basketball. Easy to carry and set up

Poor workmanship

I bought this light expecting Dewalt quality and and got less then no name brand garbage. Two lights both broken tight out of the box. Both of them at the leg hinges, just like the rest of the negative reviews. I don’t know what’s worse, DeWalt allowing something this to ship in the first place, or their lack of action in resolving it. I am guessing they don’t care, which is really really disappointing.

Great versatility

Simple height adjustment and 3 levels of brightness to give you the light you need. Easy carry handle really makes it easy moving around the job site.

Great light but a battery drainer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used this light for a variety of projects. The light it throws out is awesome and the design is very efficient. The light extends and maneuvers where you need it to and folds up very easily. The only draw back I have found is it seems to drain a 20V battery fairly quickly and if your task takes awhile and you need the bright setting, make sure you have other batteries on hand to swap in.

You know those times when its so dark you think Dracula might pop out and get you? Well no worries this thing will light the zip code up and blind anything and everything. If you don't wanna see for a week just look directly into it. And the best part, its made in gosh darn freaking America
