Nice but needs a 110v option!

Nice light but would be 10x more useful if had a 110v option (don't need cord to come with it, just 110v socket for extension)

Best light for the money.

The light output is excellent and setup is easy. My only complaint is the extension to raise the light is sloppily made and I was hoping for better quality from dewalt. Unfortunately there aren’t too many competitors out there

Wow, this is a great light

I bought this to paint my house at night. my house was built in the 70s and has poor lighting . This Dewalt light is so bright It’s brighter than the daytime light . It’s just incredible ,Very light weight easy to pack up and to Carrie and its a breeze. Very very happy.

Great light

This is a very powerful light with a solid build quality. I love the cordless feature but honestly wish it was dual power 110 or cordless... would be a 5star if not for that, fair price and easy setup/takedown

let the light shine

this is so adjustable and useful for any home project.

Super bight, light weight, and works with the rest of my 20v DeWalt tools. Light has three settings. No chance of being scolded compared to old style halogen work lights.

Breaks at the hinge for the legs

Bought first one yesterday. Checked it out in my living room. Hinge broke right away. Took it back and exchanged for another. Didn't even remove from the box. Same hinge broken in the same place. First Dewalt product where I've ever questioned the design. Would otherwise love it.

Amazing

Paired with a 9 amp battery this thing last at least 9 hours on a single charge at medium brightness. Which was more than sufficient on the jobsite.

Essential tool

Bought this less than a week ago and honestly I've been putting this kind of purchase off for years due to cost, but I can admit that was a terrible mistake. This tool is as essential for anyone in the 20v/60v dewalt cordless line as a drill/impact. I am a electrician and hvac technician and often work in attics/crawls/basements where lighting or 120v power is at a premium and this is the perfect solution for all those environments and the easy portability makes me a huge fan of this purchase....

Dewalt tripod light

Excellent light! Very bright, easy to deploy and great wide flood angle. I'm hoping dewalt develops a plug in battery adapter for 20v tools, would be nice to be able to plug this light in on longer jobs. So far what I've got for battery run times..(all on high setting) New 9.0amp flex volt 4.5hrs 2015 5.0amp 1.5 hrs

Very good light for rescue

Bought light to utilize as a portable for aiur dive team . Works better and brighter than expected.

excellent light

They have knocked it out of the park with this. The battery housing is off the ground about 6” so it can stand in water without worrying about damaging the battery or light. Extremely bright and multidirectional.

One of my favorite DeWalt purchases

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this light, extremely bright, durable, and compact. The only thing i wish it had as an option to plug it in. Run time is excellent even on just a 6.0. I imagine it would last a whole day with a 12.0 battery on the highest setting.

Versatile work light

I had to talk the wife into it, but since we have used it on several occasions... it's so handy to toss a battery in, and have a lot of light anywhere you need it. we have literally used on normal jobs, power outages, and even stuck it on top of a roof to finish a gutter project (it worked great, sat right across the peak of the roof) Makes an incredibly handy power failure light, on low it will last a long time on a 5A...

One of the best accessories in the 20v max line

With an extended downtime for the power grid, I wanted to reduce my reliance on the generator, and this item did the trick. I've since kept it on my site trailer for jobs and the ease of use is great. Plenty bright, reasonable runtime and a good value compared to the other market offerings from other tool brands and Pelican.
