[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this light for about a year and use it all the time. Works great, batteries last a long time. It has plenty of power to brighten up the space and do the job I need from it.

Incredibly Handy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light has come in so handy so many times! It is well worth the money and is so versatile. From hunting trips to backyards to jobsites this is works all around. I would recommend having larger batteries as spares for longer run times. The smaller batteries don’t last too long but if you already have the larger ones you’ll be all set!

I’ve been using this light almost everyday on the job site and off the job site at home. The light is very easy to open and close. It is also nice that you can adjust the height of the light. The three modes are very convenient if I don’t have an extra buttery in me the low mode will last for a while and still give off more then enough light to work under. Expected more from Dewalt

I bought this light about three months ago I keep it in the back seat of my crew cab truck took it out today and the bracket that holds the leg pin in broke. Light will not stand on its own. I love all of my other Dewalt tools and I have many and in most cases several of many this light is by far the worst built of all my tools. So Dewalt if you read these please step up your quality control and built this light to with stand a construction site and at very least a back seat rides in a truck.

best investment I have made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed extra light in my work shop because of limited electrical service in this room. the portability and brightness of this unit is great. I also have been changing ceiling fans for people and the fan was the only light in the room so bringing this light to those jobs has helped as well. and when I am painting shining the light along the wall helps in the wall prep.

Great light for projects!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Where I work we use lots of Dewalt tools. Our boss recently bought 3 of these lights for us. They are great for when you remodel a room because it can give you lots of bright light or you can turn it down to where you need it. They are compact and light weight even with a battery attached.

Great Light

I use this light while installing interior trim. I placed it in the center of the room and was able to run baseboard, crown, and casing without having to move or adjust the light. It works great. I used a 60 volt battery and had to change one time through out the day.

Love Dewalt products but this one not

I have a good amount of Dewalt products and work with a guy who has all Rigid products and it is sort of a rivalry thing and when I seen this light one I needed a good light and two yup you guessed it another jab back at mr rigid, but sorry to say he won this one for you see the hinge is made of plastic and not the resin like the tough built boxes and they break easily, so easy some people find them broke right out of the box. Great Light / Design flaw on broken legs

These lights work great. There is a known issue with the plastic connectors breaking on the legs. I've gone through two. Lowe's made the purchase right by swapping the items. I now have one that appears to be OK. There is a 3-year warranty on these so I'm not too concerned. Plus Dewalt will likely stand by their product and make it right. So: I'm keeping the light and hoping the third one does not break.

Can’t believe Dewalt disappointed me

Never thought I would have this awesome light. Love everything about it, with the exception that it doesn’t have an a/c option and the fact that it is BROKEN before I even used it!! Two of the three black hinges on the fold out legs are broken right out of the box!! What?!! Dewalt, any response?

Great tool but with some drawbacks

Fantastic light. Big performer. Dewalt renown quality. Should have a hookup for an A/C cord since it eats batteries so quick. Also, the “11 hour runtime” should be removed from this app since the ONLY way you would ever get that length runtime would be to run it on LOW with the huge (expensive) 9 amp hour battery which probably costs more than the actual light!

My Alien Light

Awesome portability and functionality. Originally bought light for PM work on vehicle. After 4 hours run time on low setting, light was still going strong. Very small footprint, which leaves plenty of space for working. Also, very sturdy and un-phased by moderate winds. Setup within 5 minutes of removing from box.

It's easy to set up amd stable when setup the light is dimmable.

Great light all around

I got this light as a present from my wife and i love it. it extends and tilts so it fully adjustable. only downfall is lack of a power cord or built in charger. for longer jobs have your spare batteries on the charger i had 2 to 3 hours from the 5ah 20 volt battery so now i am looking into the flex volt tools for the larger batteries.

Versatile and Bright

I bought this light over a year ago, I work in the auto industry, so it is no stranger to being exposed to all the elements. I have multiple 20v and 60v batteries so i plan accordingly. I have not had any issues with switches, LED's or hinges. It can drain through some of the smaller batteries on high setting. I just make sure to have a 60v that will give me extra power for the long projects at home, work or in between.

Great light

I love this light and would have given it 5 stars if it had the option of plugging it in. It is very well made and easy to set up. I got a little over 3 hours on high with a freshly charged 6ah battery, a little over 6 hours on medium and a little over 9 hours on low. Even on low it is plenty bright. A am a electrical contractor and bought this to use for service changes. Very nice light without much heat.

Very Versatile

Loved it the first time using it. Only negative is no 120v power cord (like other reviews) as it chews up batteries quickly.
