Would RecommendIt worked perfectly to cut some pretty thick (not sure what ga. But about the same as a typical metal duct) sheet metal. It cuts very accurately and didn’t leave the edge all wavy like when cutting by hand. I used it with my rigid 18v drill. It didn’t attach to the base of the drill like I’m sure it dies with the dewalt drill but it worked just as well. After the third cut I took the mechanism off that braces it to the drill and simply “Man handled” it which proved to be very easy to do.
So much easier than cutting by hand.

Would RecommendHave owned these shears for several months and am pleasantly surprised at how useful they have been. I use them to cut stainless 18ga sheets and they plow through those like nothing. They fit my DeWalt driver and Milwaukee drill with no issues. Have used them successfully on vinyl siding, metal roofing, and asphalt shingles. Build quality is excellent and I would buy them again in a heartbeat.

Would RecommendThis tool is a great add on at a cheaper price than a dedicated metal shear. It cuts clean smooth lines and is easy to attach to the tool. The tool you attach it to does tend to get into the way when cutting. You can easily adjust the tool to other positions to cut around obstacles. Great price good tool!

It didn't fit my Dewalt drill very well. Make sure it's secured. It cuts relatively fast but is a bit awkward to cross cut corrugated metal roofing. As long as you're cutting flat metal it does a pretty good job.
