I would definitely recommend this product! Just another great cordless attachment by dewalt! The swivel head is awesome and I like that the jaws have a wider gap allowing you to cut diagonally across corrugated metal with ease. The only issue I have with them is that the stabilizer which tightens to the base of your power tool has a prong on each side that looks like it should go in the hole intended for the hanger but they’re not quite long enough.

Cut very nicely. Had some trouble with R panel raised edges but overall performed well. Easy to place on driver.

use angle grinder

ive never used this tool yet I'm going to buy it to try to cut luxury vinyl plank flooring but all you people trying to use this for siding all you need to use is an angle grinder with a composite metal blade works perfect throws up a little bit of dust but it's fast and cuts perfect

Attaches easily to any dewalt drill or impact driver. Works well for cutting flat or formed metal roofing.

Absolutely amazing. If I could rate this a 10 I would. Wish I had found this earlier. It would have made other projects so much easier.

another time saving tool

as with several other reviews, take some time and practice before using this. once you practice a little, run this on the faster drill you have and it will cut metal roofing a lot faster than with shears. It cuts smooth and is easy to cut straight lines. I got mine on sale with free shipping to my house, this was the best $60.00 I have spent in a while.

Better way to cut metal, quick, clean & easy!

This little guy just plugs right into the impact or a drill and the legs slide down and tighten onto the base of the drill. That's it the cutting head can swivel so you can get the drill or battery out of the way. I have cut alot of corrugated steel, traditional pole barn steel and vinyl siding. It flies through very quickly. It is a very expensive high quality nessecary addition to my line of remodeling and new construction tools.

Dewalt Shear Attachment

This product was a life saver. We are putting up metal siding that needed to be trimmed and we had been doing with metal hand shear. What a nightmare. This product words wonders on jobs like this and really saves hands. I would recommend this to anyone who has to trim metal for any project. Great product.

A Must Have Tool!

I was a little skeptical of these shears, but after using them, I am very pleased. They cut through 26ga corrogated roofing and barn metal like butter. The head rotating 360 degrees is awesome as it allows you to turn the impact sideways in tight spots to gain clearance. Worth every penny!

Great tool

I saw some conflicting reviews but I have to say this is a great tool. The trick is to hold it on the right angle. If you do this cutter works like a charm. I literally ripped through two projects like magic. I love this tool! It’s worth 3X the price. I used it on a 20volt Dewalt drill not the impact tool. Worked fantastic. You definitely have to learn how to control it. So you have to practice on some scrap sheet metal. When you get the hang of it you’ll love how well it works!
