I just went to 20 V last year and was ready for a light last month. I was happy to see a flood available and not just a spot. Homes we have had, hotel rooms we’ve rented and just about any place I decide to sit and read for a few hours never have a reading light as good as this one. I do keep the new light cleaner than I can my construction site batteries. I’ll get another one.

Too top heavy

I've had this light for years as it came in a combo and it is an awful design. Even with a heavy 6mah battery it is top heavy and awkward and always falling over when you need it most.

Bright

It’s not only bright but it illuminates. I hate bright leds that just wash out anything you are looking at.

So bright and handy when not by a power source. This is my second one!

Dewalt 500 lumen LED flashlight

This is a great battery powered Dewalt LED light. I have used it a couple times now and it is very bright and so far has excellent battery life. Very pleased with this purchase.

Great flood light

I really like the light. I was looking for a spot light when i saw this and decided this would meet my needs better to flood light every where. The only this i did not like is it did not have a belt clip. I bought one one Amazon for $3.50.

Best battery powered worklight around!

My work toolboxes were recently stocked with these. I used them so much at work, that I bought my husband and I one. We use it daily. We already had a 20v lithium ion battery for use in a smaller drill, so this saved quite a bit with only having to purchase light. Great buy.

Brightened my work area

The light has proved to be useful and adaptive to lighting difficult to see areas.

Not as bright as you would want.

Nice quality, but for the price, I expected a lot brighter. Cant fill a garage with sub-par lighting. If its right on top of your project your fine. But if you wanting to fill a small area, think again.

Love this Light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive had this light for 2 years. i use all the time as i am an hvac contractor, i love the hanging hook, longevity of battery, and durability. Im wondering how long a flex volt battery would last on this baby. The negative- I like that it tells me Im on borrowed time battery wise by flashing- unless Im in a dark spot. Not a big deal but worth mentioning.
