Power, compact, working flawlessly

Bought this unit when my 20 year old Milwaukee impact driver died. Much lighter which is appreciated when working overhead on day long projects. Smooth action. Perfect for my needs.

VERY good product

So, I've been eyeing this impact driver for some time. I saw it on sale and decided to buy it. I've used a buddy of mines before and really liked it. Brought it home and charged it up. The tool claims to develop 1400 in/ib of torque so i decided to put it to the test. I attached a 3/8" drive socket adapter along wtih a 3/8" to 1/2" adapter. coupled with a 19mm impact socket. Big power in a little package

I'm a contractor. This little brute has saved me time & effort many times. I have three of them in my tool box becase my workers kept racing to get their paws on them and not a few other options I have gathering dust. DeWalt continues to keep me as a loyal customer with this little impact driver.

Should Have Purchased This A Long Time Ago!

Trust Me...so many 5-Star ratings can't be all wrong! Amazing power for it size, but it's the size that fit my bill to a "T"! It would be nice if they sold this as a combo with the 12-volt Max 1/4-in Cordless Drill.

This one or another?

I will keep this short. I was not sure between the Dewalt and the others on the market. Choosing the Dewalt was definitely the right choice. So much power, compact design, and very well built. I have never had a screw go in so easily! So if your in a dilemma, choose the Dewalt, you wont regret it.If your thinking the price is high, that is because you get what you pay for, especially in tools. ~My Favorite Tool By Far, THE HELPFUL MAN

I have only used it a week so far, but so far it's one tough tool. It's a must have for any project.

Amazing Driver

This is one of the best tool purchases I have ever made. Light weight, rugged, tons of power, and battery life is great. I use this thing multiple times per week. Any time we start a project, this is the first tool in the bag. Don't let the small size fool you, this thing packs a punch and gets into tight spaces easily. great for the price

I went with the 1.5 amp instead of the 3 amp for the price difference. It pulls warped boards into place just fine. For wood construction, this driver is great. The new 20v batteries are smaller and lighter, but still fit in the old 20v tools and hold the charge just as long. I definitely recommend it

Compact and Powerful

I have been using this driver for odd jobs around the house. Very powerful and the battery life is very good. The belt clip comes in handy as well. Overall happy with my purchase.

Best tool for any job

This is the best drill I've ever bought. I use it on a weekly basics. For small jobs or those bigger ones that may last awhile. I would def recommend this for any and everyone. Thanks Dewalt!!!

Nice Tool - But

Good power, nice balance and overall good design. I am a bit amiss at the fact there is no bit clip. There is a mount for it, but the actual clip was not included. Very strange as I bought this in a combo kit with the hammer drill and that tool has the lone clip installed. Not a huge deal but kind of cheap if you ask me. As a carpenter, and a brick mason the dewalt 20v max impact driver has more then enough power to get through anything i run into on the job. The battries are amazing they last long charge fast and that means i can get the job done faster and move on to the next one.
