Power with long lasting battery

I was installing 5 inch lag screws through a 4x4 post into a 2x6. This impact made quick and easier work of all 12 on a single charge. Very happy.

Impact

Nothing works like a Dewalt. We have tried other impacts but they just stand up.

DeWalt Quality

Easy to use

Incredible torque!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I busted lug nuts off a full size truck with this thing! That’s all you need to know. I’m super impressed with the speed, lightness, and torque of this thing. Forward seems to have just as much torque as reverse. It’s not to loud, appropriate for a tool like this. Extremely light with low profile batteries that last plenty long. Buy It. It’s a good investment.

MUST HAVE ITEM

I broke my drill driver and found I could not function without this in my shop. I immediately went to my local LOWES and purchases REPLACEMENT. Thanks

Dewalt 20V

Of course its Dewalt so the expectation is high. It's light and certainly powerful enough, but i would recommend for heavy use ALWAYS have a spare battery charged. I found that the battery life, that is how long you can do actual work, is not that long. If battery availability and frequent changing isn't an issue "when its being used rigorously" then buy it. Note, I'm unbiased, but for disclosure, I typically own Milwaukee.
