Would RecommendI’veused this outside for phones or when we lost power, it only puts out 1.5 amps so if you want to charge an iPad it will drain a small battery quickly. I have 3,5, and 6 amp20volt batteries which can supply enough to keep you going for a while

My cousin showed me this charger and it’s on me over instantly especially since I already have a bunch of DeWalt batteries from my cordless tools. The also work on the type-1 20 volt battery to show the charge level. Works good to charge Cell phones, I have got 5 charges on a cell phone with a DCB204 4 amp hour battery. I bought a dewalt drill with 2 1.5 ah battery kit DCD777C2 the battery didn't have the bat. gauge, found out that is a type-1 battery, thanks to the DCB090 I can check the bat. level....

I am frequently at places where there is either no power or it is hard to get to, and thought this would be perfect for the cell phone, tablet and whatever else can be charged via USB port. For celll phones, this is great. It will charge 2 without problem. When it comes to iPads, it will only handle one at a time and nothing else. I've charged both Samsung and Apple devices with it and they all charge quickly and efficently. I can charge 2 devices from 0% to 100% twice off of 1 battery charge. Would highly recommend!
