Dewalt drill/impact amazing

Hi I'm a thirteen year old that loves building so after saving my money I bought this for odd jobs around the house so I didn't have to use my dad's old 18 volt stuff. When I got it right out of the bag both batteries were fully charged me and my dad both used them to build a barn worked perfectly. I have used them numerous times in the three weeks that had them. Great product - thanks Dewalt!

GREAT tool combination for any homeowner

After six years of heavy use, the second set of batteries in my 14-year-old DeWalt drill/driver finally gave up the ghost. Rather than buy new (and relatively heavy NiCd) batteries for my old friend, I found I could spend a few bucks more and get this new, more powerful (and much lighter) DeWalt combination. Great Tools

Used both drill and impact driver for an 8 hour shift using the supplied batteries. Did not have to change the batteries all day.

Good price, battery runs long time, drive screws in great. The drill driver work the best I have ever had. On my project I can complete my project before I have to recharge the batteries. The torque driver is the I have ever used. I use oak wood and it drives screws in with no problem. I did find Don,t over charge your batteries more then 4 hours. The charger get hot to the touch. Great if you like wasting time swapping batteries

I tested this for 10 days doing minor drywall screwing and some paddle bit holes for electrical wiring. The 1.5Ah battery on a full charge lasted 14 1in holes before needing a full recharge. The DCD780 couldn't even do one without the overload protection stopping it or the chuck slipping. I like the lightness but for a carpenter that doesn't want to waste time, this is not a good combo. Battery life not so desired

I've always loved dewalt tools. My last cordless was an 18v, used it about 11 years. Decided it was time to upgrade. I'm a contractor, use the cordless pretty much everyday. Had this combo pack about 2 or 3 weeks now. The batteries are constantly on the charger. I bought this combo kit because many good reviews convinced me DeWalt is good quality product. Great Product

I had a Dewalt power drill for years and it turned out to be the best tools I ever purchased. With the experience I had with quality and durability of this drill Dewalt was my choice for an upgrade. The light weight and power of these new drills are amazing. Gave my old one to my son in law and he loves it. If you purchase this drill set you will never regret.

Amazing battery life!

Finally a cordless tool that you don't have charge in the middle of a job. I have done several large home projects with these two and the batteries last forever. I assembled an entire outdoor play structure, you know the giant cedar things, didn't have to recharge the batteries. Another time, I virtually rebuilt an entire 30 x 16 deck and didn't have to recharge the batteries. Combo Kit

Not much to say other than they work how they are suppose to. Drills I feel are highly durable and haven't had any issues so far. They only thing is the batterys don't last as long as I would like but I cant complain since they offer the higher rated batterys. As for the impact I had a speed test with my bosses Makita set and it actually drove screws faster, but I have also broke a few screws because of it. Overall great drill for contractor or DIY

Long lasting quality products.

There may be better quality professional tools. However, for the regular home user, these are great. I have had a set for years and thought it time to buy new ones for our new home. I also upgraded to the 20-volt which makes a big difference in power.

Much better than ever expected !

I have used Craftsman products for a long time, and have had a medium to good experience with them.
