Great Little Impact

I bought this in 2012 and its been dropped from a 2nd storey, left out in the rain overnight, submersed, buried, absolutely abused and it just keeps on working.

It will drill.

This was my first battery powered power tool so I'm not an expert, but everything works as it's suppose to. It's great not to be bound by a cord.

Best tools in my shop

Powerful yet compact. Does the job every time and doesn't take up much space in tool bag.

Absolutely love these! I've never invested in higher priced power tools because I don't use them very often. But I had a bigger project that needed done so I plunged in and am I ever glad that I did! They are amazing! A screw that would take forever to put in, just flies in with the impact drill! Buy them, you won't regret it!

Excellent Set - Highly Recommend

Great set at a reasonable price. It had been a long time since I purchased a power tool, no buyers remorse with this purchase. Plenty of power and a ton of versatility with this set. Battery is quick to charge and lasts a long time. Highly recommend.

Love DeWalt Tools

Gave 4 stars only because I have the brushless XR kit. Only reason is because I use the tools all day Working with metal studs. The one kit I have is 50 bucks more. But unless you use them like I do, this kit is more than enough. I keep this kit at home and I always find something to work on just to use the tools. The impact driver is my favorite. Wow ! Power is amazing

I owned the old 18v NiCad dewalt drill and driver and the batteries finally bit the bullet. So it was time to upgrade..... Gewalt drills, top shelf

This is the second time I've purchased these drills, gave the first set to my friend, he liked them so much. Wouldn't purchase any other brand.

Great basic set

I am a part time contractor. I don't use a drill and driver as much as a lot of trades. The tools are absolutely top notch, and the batteries are very light and more than enough run time for light use. If you are going to use them heavily I would recommend the same tools, but get the better battery.

A terrific drill

This review covers the drill only. Have not yet used the impact tool. The drill is nicely designed, compact and lightweight. I assembled a four step outside set of stairs that were just under 8 feet wide. The drill driver is very powerful. I also liked the design point where when you insert a bit and hand-tighten the chuck it rachets when it is fully tight. I pre-drilled all holes using my old electric drill.
