Great Router kit

This is a great buy that combines the quality of DeWalt, use of fixed and plunge type capability, excellent warranty and great price. Don't buy a cheap router as you'll be buying a new one to replace it. My dad always yold me that "A poor man cannot afford to buy his tools twice!"

My original was stolen but I had been so happy with the performance of the original one that I replaced it with the same one. Plenty of power and very versatile.

Died on first use. Wound not restart. Do not buy.!

Dewalt Fixed/Plunge Base Router

The plunge base slides smooth, and the fixed base is steady.

Powerful and smooth

Worth the extra money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I looked around that many different routers. there are definitely some cheaper options out there but unfortunately they are just that... cheap. it was nice to see you after spending the extra money that I got what I paid for. This is by far the best router I've ever used. It's amazing to see some of the work it does.

magnet blow bushing shattered

Great mid range router

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my router for just about every project from jointing edges, profiling, inlaying, to planing slabs. It’s handled everything with pretty much no problem. I have a beefy Amana bit I use for planing slabs and it cuts like a hot knife through butter. Nice durable build!

very powerful

Awesome

Great router for the price. Two bases. Easy change. Only downside is that i want it as a table router and it doesn’t have the adjustment from the top. That isn’t what this router was designed for.

Speed, accuracy and dependability all describe the Dewalt 2.25 Variable speed Combo Fixed/Plunge router. When I need a quality instrument, DeWalt is always my first choice.

Easy to use right out of the box.

Opened up and was ready to go immediately. The combo fixed base/plunge feature is a great addition even though I have only used the plunge so far.
