poor quality - broken and bad sizing

I'm a professional carpenter and have noticed DeWalt quality slipping in different products. Now, the decay seems to have reached the biscuit production. I have been through countless jars of DeWalt biscuits #0, #10, #20. I have relied on a consistent quality in thickness. Having now read the current reviews, I will turn to other products outside the Stanley Black and Decker DeWalt Porter Cable etc family. I had 15-20% loss on this purchase. At 20% loss, the customer is effectively paying 12.50....

Easy to find, order and arrived quickly!

Inconsistent.

Too much size inconsistency. A third were about right, a third too much wiggle room, and a third needed hammered in.

I'm throwing away about 10% due to bad manufacturing; too thick or falling apart/chipped.

Check your pickup order.

The product is fine. I ordered a size zero and received a size 10. Disappointed that the order was wrong. Will be able to use on a different project.

Poor consistency in thickness

Quality control wherever these are manufactured must be pretty poor based on the variation in thickness within the same lot. Some fit loosly into the slot, others require excessive force to insert and some simply won't fit at all. I had a similar experience with a cheap off brand and thought DeWalt would be higher quality, but it seems they may have come from the same factory.

The biscuits were just a bit thin for my preference, but fortunately were not consistent, so I was able to find a few biscuits that were tighter in my cutouts.

Some were to fat some to thin. Very bad quality control.

A second check

Yesterday I bought these Dewalt biscuits and examined them before laying out some table top boards. I found that many of them were too thin to ever swell and fill the morose joint. I threw away almost half of my purchase and gave a two star review to these. Today I received an email from Lowe’s saying they had responded to my review. It was “ we appreciate your business”. I decided I would see if my review was on the website. It was not, of course, but there were many reviews about the biscuits ...

Different thicknesses

I just got home with these biscuits and threw half of them away. There were two thicknesses. One was embossed with “20 USA” and had a sort of grid pattern like the Bosch bisquits I am accustomed to, but the other half were smooth on both sides and quite a lot thinner. They wouldn’t fill a biscuit mortise when glued. I won’t buy these again.

Inconsistent Thicknesses

I should have paid attention to the other recent reviews. I didn't. The #20 biscuit thicknesses were all over the place. The majority were too thick and would not fit without a lot of persuasion. I started separating the good from the bad and ended up with less than 10% good. Returned them and ordered from someone else.

Purchase them.

Ordinary biscuits. Did the job and did it good. Thanks Dewalt.

Only biscuits they had, but they were good for use.

The thickness of some of the biscuits vary.

Good product, did exactly what I needed it for the project.
