Would Not RecommendGrinding wheels and machine vibrated causing inaccurate grinding. Motor body became much too hot to the touch.

I had to open it up to make it work
Would Not RecommendI put the entire grinder together per the instructions (PS: the instructions are next to worthless with the imagery being indecipherable). I plugged it in and....nothing. Tried everything I could think of. Re-read the instructions and still nothing. I was about to box it up and bring it back to Lowes when I decided to try and see if it was something simple. I remove the switch and bottom plate and saw that the connector plug from the switch to the circuit board was not even plugged in. Once...

Would Not RecommendThe grindi g wheels especially the finer one were not well ballanced or true. Machine vibrates because of this. The work light could definitely use a longer arm that stays where you put like next to the tool rest. Lastly one tool rest is flat and the other is beveled which seems like a good idea but they are not interchangeable. If you wanted to use the smooth one with the other grit stone you'd have to swap the stones which requires a bit of work.

Overall Great-Could have included bulb and spacer.
Would RecommendExcellent Product Overall. 2 Minor Suggestions. Including a light bulb would be nice. Also if you want to change out the grinder wheels for something like a wire wheel, be prepared to add spacers or washers. And good luck finding anything that fits over the shaft, it’s not SAE or Metric. But a couple handfuls of different washers to try your luck. Otherwise, it’s a nice addition to it’s 8inch twin I bought a few months ago, I use primarily with grinding wheels.

The cat's meow
Would RecommendAt first I was concerned about an awful vibration by come to find out, the left wheel had a 3/8 inch wobble. I took it off and scraped the glued on center cardboard. Put it back on and vibration problem solved. It is the cat's meow for a home shop. I especially like the slow speed for sharpening chisels and hand planer blade. The light is a big plus.

Happy with my purchase.
Would RecommendI love the variable speed. I have been using to sharpen turning tools. It works very well. Very little vibration. I really like having the light as well. I bought the 6" because of the price, the size (since i have a small shop), and the last on i had was a 6" and i already had baught a sharpening stone for it. So the six it was.

Works well
Works well but runs very hot to the point you can’t touch it?? Little concerning

Overpriced for the quality
It does what its designed to do. However, it's noisy and the instructions are poor at best
Difficult assembly
Would RecommendThe grinder is excellent, but it comes in a box and assembly is worse than your worst Christmas eve nightmare. The assembly instructions are cryptic and the illustrations are terrible. It took me three hours and I was thinking it might take half an hour. I actually had to call Delta customer service which was very helpful. It's a shame because the product is first rate and fixing the assembly instructions would be simple. My advice is to purchase the floor model!
