This bread machine works well on mixing all ingredients. I find that the baking part cooks too fast and too hot and therefore burns the sides and bottom, but the top is fine. On the sweet breads they are uncooked on the inside.

Top hatch hinge broke after a year
Would Not RecommendI really like how well this Bread Machine functions. Its very reliable, however the hatch hinges broke and it is so disappointing. I called and got customer service who said it is just beyond warranty

Poor quality of bread
Not happy with the recipes at all and plan on returning machine to the store. Followed directions completely and have not had one real nice loaf in appearance or texture.

I love my Cuisinart 2 lb breadmaker
Very well designed, and turns out a great loaf of bread. I love the compact design; it takes up a lot less counter space than my old bread machine did. I also like that there is a cycle for artisan dough! I spent a considerable amount of time researching machines before I bought my Cuisinart, and I know I made the right choice. I highly recommend it.
