Would RecommendThis might be the single greatest tape measure I’ve ever used. It is rigid so when you are measuring longer items it doesn’t randomly bend in half. I was able to easily and accurately measure while on a ladder because I didn’t have to fuss with it bending all sorts of ways.

A bit floppy and thin
I bought this to replace a very old Craftsman tape measure I had which was broken. The tape on this new one is thinner sheet metal and very "frail". I feel like I have to baby it to keep from damaging it. And due to the thinness of the sheet metal of the tape, it doesn't stand out as good as my old one. It wants to twist on its own this way and that. I plan to return this tape measure.

14' Reach is Clearly Overstated

In the store, I immediately unbagged and extended it. The best I could get was about 11'. I went over to the tape measure section and tried all the Lufkin products. Some claim 15', 16', 17'!
