Would RecommendI was a fan of the black tape with bright numbers immediately, and was PLEASANTLY surprised with the inverted/vertical numbers on the back side of the taps. I can already think of hundreds of times where that vertical measuring would've been useful. The case has a great protection built around the locking switch that's not overly complex and the whole tape just looks sexy!!

Would RecommendSaying the Lufkin Shockforce Nite Eye 25-foot Tape Measure is heavy duty is an understatement. This tape measure is built tough with a black blade which is almost 1 inch and 1/8 wide. Easy to read
Would RecommendThe bright color on black makes it easy to read. The numerals are larger than on my old Craftsman tape. It is easy to read in low light areas, also. There is another marked improvement over my old tapes...it is marked on the bottom side, also! The other thing I noticed right off is the end hook is a whole lot heavier and designed to hook from top or bottom!

Would RecommendWhen I got this tape measure, I assumed it was just like any other tape measure out there. I was wrong! As you can see with the attached photos, this is no ordinary tape measure. This one has the measurements on both sides of the tape and the numbers are a bright green against a black background. This contrast really helps in low visibility situations. Thank you!
Top of the line
Would RecommendOh my goodness. This is now my top tape measure. There is so much to say about it. First it is a solid tape with wicked construction. I know it will be able to take my drops and miss handling. The tip has some sort of abrasive that makes it hold on to slick surfaces and boy does it do that. I can send the tape out around 10 feet before it breaks so it works great for that reach. The body is 3" so I can get an easy inside measurement and the markings on the tape are so easy for this old guy ...

Would RecommendThe "Crescent Lufkin Shockforce Nite Eye Lufkin 25-ft Tape Measure" is well made and has great features. Nite Eye is easy to see, the large numbers are easy to read plus it also has feet & inch markings on back of tape.
Real nice tape
Would RecommendThis really is a nice tape. Big numbers, and the color is very easy to see, and in low light. The locking mechanism works well and is soft, doesn’t feel like your jamming the tape. It says 16 Ft reach,,, which is a bit of a “reach”, but I can reach out 10’ with no problem.

GREAT Tape Measure Features
Would RecommendAt first, I wasn't sure how easy a black tape line would be to read. Most tape lines are yellow or white with black numbers, but this is black (front and back) with bright green numbers which makes it very easy to read. This tape measure has a really good feature in the diamond-coated end clip which makes it grip better and not slip off. The lock button is protected by two metal guards. This is one of the better tape measures I have seen.
Tough, quality tape w/extra features
I have a few tape measures but picked this one because its claim is that it is easier to read in low light. Well, it delivers on that claim. I tested it in a couple of low light areas, and it really is easier to read. Also, the build quality on the tape is excellent and has a couple of nice features. The guard helps protect the lock. I'm not sure I'll use the scribing hole, but it would be very useful for those that do. This will be one of my two go-to tapes going forward.
Not Glow in the Dark

There are people with color vision problems that have trouble seeing contrasting colors even though they are not color blind. Would RecommendPretty neat measure tape. The coloring is designed for easy viewing on low light. Good tape if you tend to be rough on stuff. Has numbers on both sides. After 18ft it’s a bit tough to pull out but it retracts each time with no issues.
