Great purchase. I'm glad these were available at LOWES. I have purchased pruners from other stores in the past and had nothing but bad luck with them. Usually they don't do the job of pruning, as the blades seem to separate and the item being pruned just jams between the blades. Not with the Corona Bypass Hand Pruner! I pruned a dozen rose bushed and there never once was a fail. These gems worked wonders on the canes. The only difficulty I had was getting stuck numerous times by the rose thorns....

Corona Bypass Hand Pruner

I have had three other similar hand pruner that were quite old. The Corona Pruner was excellent in cutting up cedar, hemlock and Douglas fir small limbs for the garbage going out. I am very impressed with this tool.

Old school is the best

I've had several pruners that try to make it 'easier' to cut. But, in the end, they all have some type of problem that makes them difficult to use. These are now my favorite. Sharp, simple to use, and effective. They are comfortable in my hand and fit easily in my apron.
