I have used pruners for most of my life & these are right up there near the top. They are very comfortable to use and very sturdy. I like the spring closer better than my previous pair that had the plastic clip because the plastic breaks.

Money well spent.

I despise buying cheap junk, and hate having to fix something so I can go to work. I get just as excited about buying a product that performs every time I'm ready to use it. It's cut anything from 3/4" bamboo to fine stems and is as sharp as the day I bought it about a year ago.

Broken after 5 min use

Went to prune small apple branch and pin that holds blade snapped. 5 min. use. Sent Corona customer service an email and no reply. I would suggest buying a different pruner. The pin is small to begin with and a weak link; not the greatest design.

Buy something else

Nearly junk. The safety clip broke off and catches fingers and hand pinching those horribly.

Lemon

I don't know if I just got a bad pair but the blade edge began chipping within the first year while cutting sticks less than a quarter inch in diameter. Going to try to return them.

Corona Bi-pass clippers

The product is fine but was delivered about 10 days after the promised date. This seems inexcusable for such a basic product.

These pruners I have personally used the same tool every single day for over 3 years in commercial landscaping. Light duty to heavy duty work they have never let me down. They have since gotten rusty, tossed in the dirt, thrown around my tool box and left in the mud and they still are sharp, sturdy and ready to use. I will always recommend it to anyone looking for pruners. there is nothing better

Best Pruner I've Found Yet

Have always had trouble getting the suckers cut around my palms, as the pruners I've used before never seem to cut them clean. This product does the job. Am glad I read a review by a professional landscaper who recommended these. They work like a dream!

greatest handheld bypass pruners ever made

Never leave home without these on my side. Landscape maintenance by trade. I have used this style primer since the early 90's and love them. Just recently bought a new pair with the replacable blade. Use them everyday and love Corona products... They are all I will buy. Dependable and reliable..... Day in....day out! For those that have complaints... They are using improperly. I cut 1" and larger diameter on a regular basis with ease.

My main pruning tool

I have a nursery and take alot of cuttings from stock plants and I prune or shape plants continualy. I have been using this tool for about 5 years now with no problems.

Should come with a warning

Earlier this spring I purchased this pruner because I liked the handle style - I cut both lefty & righty so I need a 'handless' grip - and it seemed like a well made tool at a reasonable price. Imagine my surprise when after using it for only a couple of weeks, mostly on branches of .5" dia., it stopped cutting.
