[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this in the mail recently and used it to hang a very heavy picture we have and was surprised on how easy it was to use and semi install as you could say. It was easy to assemble and has great strength capacity.

It is very sturdy and holds the frame nice and straight. I have not removed it but I know the Command products come off very easily.

Works just as directed

Easy to Use

Great picture Hanger

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product to try out and it is a great way to hang pictures that are heavy as it holds up to 8 pounds. It is hard to find ways to hang pictures without putting nails in your walls. Using these hooks, you do not need to patch holes when you move your pictures.

Heavy-duty wall hangar does not leave a trace

Very Useful in Picture Hanging

It Actually Works!

WOW IT WORKS

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a heavy picture frame that weighed over 6 LBS and I could not find anything to hang is for years I had it on the floor of my office out of fear if I hung it it would fall and break. Lo and behold this hung it up I'm so happy!

Great for hanging large pictures

Confusing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was waiting for this to arrive to hang a large picture. The directions on the back are small and therefore hard to read and follow properly. The hook works just fine But the plate is huge and I could really just as easily put a small hole in my wall with a nail. Not my favorite product.

Quality issues

NAIL BROKE OFF FROM METAL PLATE after a couple of days, bringing down art-work mounted on wall. Frame broke. Luckily was close-by, so was able to hold it before the glass shattered. I had trusted two of these placed adjacent to each other to hold one 7.5 lb artwork, just to be on the safer side. They are each advertised to hold up to 8 lbs. Doesn't last

Lasted 3 years then boom down came my beautiful clock, damaged our wall and broke my beloved photo frame under it , no damage to clock thank goodness , hubby went out and bought a new hanger the same and we rehung , in the middle of the night I woke to a huge bang , I was unsure if I had dreamed it , I woke my husband and he said he thought he heard a noise to , I said I hope it wasn't the clock again , I got up and sure enough he was my beautiful clock laying on the bench ! Tape broke, had to peel from the wall

I used this product for about 3 years for a 5-pound or less hanging mirror, which worked great until I had to move out of my apartment and remove it. I pulled one white strip down, and the white strip broke. The second white strip broke as well. So there was no other way than to rip it off the wall, which ruined the paint. The other Command products worked well, but this one didn't work as well. Also, the silver square part shows behind the artifact, which isn't too appealing when you want only ...

This review only concerns the instructions

Bought the 8 lb item with instructions 17048-ES (English and Spanish) last week at the Container Store of Santana Row (San Jose, CA). Line 1 of the instructions image 2 and the text say "remove GREEN liners", but there are only red and black ones at the strips. line 2, image 2 sais "CLICK". Looking at your instructions on Command.com, I found instructions 17048 (only English), which on line 1 "remove RED liners", and on line 2 quite an other noise... 17048 seems OK with what the package contains...

Ruined my expensive canvas arts

I bought several 3M products to hang small to medium pictures and canvas arts. It works great. But the one in plastic that is for wire back hanger is only for 5 lbs. I had to hang a group of 4 piece art and thought it might be better (though it is not heavy but little large) to go with this metal nail wire back hanger. All the 4 fell one by one in a day's span and ruined the art as well as small dents in the wall (not from the hanger but the art work falling, scratched and dented wall and). Thes...

Doesn't work

Didn't hold up my IKEA picture frame (which as you all know, is just simple plexiglass). Like others who have posted, the frame crashed in the middle of the night. It didn't help that the frame broke in the process. [That said, the other Command products worked for me - holding much heavier weight.]
