What Customers Are Saying
The product is versatile and easy to use for hanging lighter items like photos and small to medium-sized frames without causing wall damage. It is praised for its convenience and ability to securely hold items up to 8 pounds. However, some customers have experienced issues with the product failing to support heavier or larger items, leading to the item falling and sometimes breaking. There are also quality concerns, with the adhesive or metal plate failing after a short period of time for some users. The product may be suitable for lightweight items but may not be suitable for heavier or larger frames.

Never trust command with valuables
Unfortunately I forgot the cardinal rule of commend strips, never, never, NEVER, hang anything that you like or are remotely worried will break. Doesn’t matter if you follow instructions etc. I hung a unique decorated mirror that was around 5 pounds. It lasted all of 6 hours before it dropped and shattered in the middle of the night. I’ve had another hook drop before (also hanging a backpack that was well underweight) so I should’ve known better than to trust Command.

Size restrictions not in product description.
I purchased this to hang a large painting (5 lb) on my wall. It was not until it arrived when I noticed that in addition to weight threshold (8lb), there are also size restrictions (18"x24"). The latter should have been prominently specified in the product description.

BUyer Beware
I've had many pictures fall and tear my sheetrock. The last picture that fell, the picture frame broke and the actual prong on the plate , that holds the picture broke off the plate and the adhesive tabs tore when trying to pull straight down to remove. It was then very difficult to get the plate off the wall without incurring more damage. I double adhesive most of my pictures and doesn't really help. Buyer beware.

Buy beware-the adhesive has a shelf life!
Would Not RecommendI used to keep some refill strips on hand. Apparently this is not a good idea, because the adhesive apparently has a shelf life. After a while the stickyness declines and your item will fall. I called about this and there was no substantive response. I think the packaging should have an expiration date!

Great save the walls.
Would RecommendWe hung a whole house full of pictures, over 20 pictures. No damage to the walls when we moved. The hangers lasted over 4 years with no replacement.

Would RecommendI used it to hang a clock & it worked perfectly... very easy to install.
Read the directions before applying to wall.
Would RecommendThis product works great and I have used to hang several other art pieces.
HORRIBLE!
Would Not RecommendI hung 2 small wooden scounces weighing about 5 lbs each. The backs are flat just as if they were a picture frame so I saw no difference in using these to hang them rather than a picture frame with glass in it. The first one popped off the wall about 2 months later for no reason and broke the luminara tapered candle I had in it. Today about 6 months later the 2nd one just popped off the wall while I was on the phone with my sister. These are terrible and should not be trusted to hang anythin...
