Poor performance

Might work better in another situation but the drain was clogged with dirt and this brought up none. Had to use old fashioned snake.

A product that works

This product does work. It's not a metal tool, but it doesn't have to be for what it was designed to do. It will most likely last a long time.

Worked great for the girlfriends hair in the drain, didn't even need drain cleaner. Says the product is a one time use thing, but I freed the hair and ran it under the sink; good as new.

We purchased a foreclosed home, and some of the bathroom drains were clogged with hair. This implement helped loosen the gunk and grime left behind by the previous owners. Now our drain works just beautifully!

money well spent

only used on a light clog but preformed very well, it is suppose to be made for one use and thrown away, but we used it on all the drains and have saved it for the future because it was perfectly fine when we finished with it

Should be required in every home!

Wow! This little plastic crick saved me so much time and money. A friend had suggested so I bought one. Can't believe I have survived without it! So much cheaper and safer than chemicals down the drain!! Go buy one or five today!!

This thing is cool!

I really like this thingy. It works really good and it can be used more than once for those of us that are really cheap!! My sink has worked great ever since I used it to clean the drain out.

Found this idea on youtube and I am amazed! It pulled a HUUUGE long snake of hairy yuckiness out of all of our drains. We are so relieved and we won't ruin our pipes with liquid clog buster gels. There was one weird drain in our inserted bathtub that we could not stick it down. It curves in several different directions and I couldn't figure out how to shove this around all those curves. :) But I fault the tub. Seems to work for most others online.

Better than liquid Plummer or drain-o! Package says single use however you can use it multiple times!

Worked better than expected

Wasn't sure if it'd fix the clog i had in my shower drain but it worked perfectly and I had the problem fixed less than 5 minutes. Highly reccomended product.

Chemical Free Solution!

As for chemical free solutions, this tops the list. The draining noise I heard after using it must have been from all the lost sales of the caustic chemicals companies. Save your septic or sewer system, use this. The fact that you're reading a review for this tells me you're thinking too hard. Its a few dollars. Go get it. Now!

Great Product for clearing drains.

It seems like if it was made slightly smaller in width then it would be easier to get it in there and perhaps a make it out of a more flexible but yet still durable material...

Cheap plastic

I have used these before and had no problem, they work great. The one I bought yesterday broke at the handle when I tried to pull it out leaving it in my tub drain. I grabbed the end with a pair of needle nose and got about an inch and a half of it. Now it looks like a plumbing project to get the rest out. The plastic was brittle. Nobody aint got time for that!

Had a slow drain bathroom sink. Spent a lot of money with plumbers and still had the problem. Poured a lot of stuff down the drain and still had the problem, Plunged and plunged and still had the problem. But this worked!!!!!!!!!!!! The drain was simply plugged up. Now it is completely clear. I am so happy I gave it a try.

All those reviews ahead of this one that extol the virtues of this gadget are quite correct, An amazing tool. The "single use" description is a worst case. After two drains it still works, but it is "NASTY" to clean. The little hooks may break eventually but when they do I'll buy another one. Wonderful to not flush harsh chemicals down the drain and into my septic tank. This is a must have tool in any household.

Works as advertised-toook a massive glob out of my bath drain-alot less $$$$ than a plumber!

This is the best $3 I have ever spent

Tired of dumping draino down my sink & tub every month I decided to give this cheap tool a try. It works wonders. I spent less then 10 minutes cleaning the drains out and havent had even a slow drain since. This tool will last me for several cleanings and has already paid for itself. Everyone should own one of these.
